yyou have the exhaust manifold and down pipe?

Is your original an auto or manual?

Most of the engine brackets will mount up between the 2 models being they are both 4G93 blocks.

If you are using an automatic unit , it would be wise to install an external transmission cooler.

Well before , i go any farher , wut do yu have already. Just the engine? NO wiring?

Well one major thing is a wiring harness. There are ways around it but it requires wiring the harness. I have had many time i have had to rewire , fabricate wire harnesses etc. The one thing is for yur blow off and charge air cooler . The solenoid for yur wastegate etc. Most of the wiring frum yur original engine will actually fit. Yu can check the connectors just in case. TPS , ignition coil, cam position sensor Crankshaft TDC sensor etc. Yu can utilize yur PS pressure hose and return hose frum yur old power steering pump. many things will work as in the connector for the alternator etc. There are a few things yull run into, as in the charge boost pressure switch/sensor and charge air temp sensor and similar sensors as this.

We have successfully installed 4G93 DOCH Turbo into Mirage Asti's and Mirage Cyborgs using the 4G93 and 4G92 NA wiring harness. Some things need extending or rearranging the wire harness , for moving the factory AFM cause of the turbo.
Yu can use yur factory AFM or get one frum a Challenger with a 4G63 or 4G64 engine. Or other Mitsubishi vehicles with a 2.0 or 2.4 engine or V6 (2.0-3.0) The plug in should be the same . These AFm will help to better monitor the higher air flow volume.

Yu can utilize yur engine ECU if yu get the main connections to work , but yull need a boost controller/turbo timer etc or anything for controlling the Turbo setup., as in yur ABV , wastegate etc. The flywheel frum yur original engine should bolt up , altho yu may need to get a better clutch to deal with more TW

so i can use the stock ecu and i will have to buy the intercooler and piping for a front mount job[/b]

later on yu can get the PCM retuned to work exactly how yu want to with the engine. Onlee thing is the ignition timing. For the turb the ignition timing needs to be retarded (backed down) a little frum the NA ignition timing.

Hi,
can I use a larger AFM for my JDM 1.8 GDI?
Which engine model's will work and which years are they?
Thanks.
