2001/2002 shogun cruise not working

Can anyone help
The cruise on my V68 2001/2002 shogun isn't working, it will switch on with the ignition on and lights up on the dash, but as soon as I start the car within seconds the cruise light goes out and won't switch back on 🤔.

Any ideas

Hi Andrew, are you talking about the cruise control? If you are....it can only be turned on while car is moving at certain speeds...i'm guessing 40mph and above. Below that it won't turn on.

My 04 Outlander speed limit I think is ~30kph and I think the Frontier's is ~40kph before you can engage either.

Yeah also my first thought - cruise control only works beyond a certain speed.

It is meant for the highway - long distance, same speed, no pedestrians etc.

Legal issues in a lot of countries forbid the use in the city for example.
