The fine details and torque specs should be in the service manual links
Workshop Manuals Gt3000- Stealth Freepdf

For the Outlander when I did it, I borrowed a proper inner tie rod removal tool and snuck a couple bills in the box when I returned it, it makes life so much easier.
Avoid the garbage universal ones that look like

and go with the proper ones that look like

or

Take tire off, remove outer tie rod end, slip wrench over inner tie rod and remove. Verify torque specs and reassemble with the new ones. Potentially go get an alignment.

tie rod ends

thanks for the note about the free pdf.
what I like to know if anyone changed these on their own because it looks like one side does'nt have any room to get your hands in there.

I have not looked at a 3000gt (really rare here) that closely but that is why they make those tie rod removal tools so long as you side it over the tie rod then you can use tools on it normally.
