Sorry if this is redundant, however I'm having a hard time navigating the forum. I'm looking for the procedure to replace an intake manifold. Has it been posted here somewhere? Thank you.
I dont think there is a write up on how to replace the intake manifold or its gasket

A 2000 gallant is a bit different motor but the 4G69 is what i'm most familiar with and the process on that one is pretty simple. Take intake piping out including throttle body which you will want hose clamps as coolant flows through it and you don't wan't to spill too much of it. The undo the bolts holding the intake manifold in place. May need to take off the engine cover etc.
I'm having a very difficult time locating the gasket for the water outlet housing. It's the gasket that goes between the water outlet and the cylinder head. Napa, auto value, advanced auto, all come up with nothing. Any suggestions?
Call your nearest dealership and get the proper part number. Then use that in your google searches or search amazon etc. May need to fold however and just pay dealership pricing and sometimes certain bits and pieces can be hard to track down. I just picked up rear diff mounts for my Outty and the dealership ended up being my best option.
We have PDF manuals ineach section above the topics area. if you need any further information its there. Also yes the dealership has that gasket
