RVR Hyper Sports Gear - Auto Transmission

Hi.

I am in the UK.

I have a 1995 2.0 4G63T 4x4 RVR Hyper Sports Gear.

I need help in regards to the following:

Where is the Transmission Control Module located?

Does this gear box have a transmission filter and if so, would any of you know the part number?

What grade fully synthetic fluid is recommended?

on a RVR 95 automatic TCU may be combined with the ECU and not a seperate

check behind or just above passenger side kick panel

keep using the mitsubishi brand automatic transmission .. from the mitsuibishi parts counter

Actually , Technically not , The TCU should be located under the centre console under the dash , under the HVAC case , the ECU is located on the pasanger bolster side panel tucked up on the corner of the dash. Later models had them stacked upon each other and in 2001 they made them as one unit

If it helps I've recently done a drain and refill on my RVR SSG, auto gearbox, I went to my local motor factor (PMA in West Sussex) they recommended TradeTec auto-trans DVI, seems to do the job well. (I had looked in my handbook but the spec read ATF-SP which must be a jap spec fluid) I've also changed the filter in the sump a year or so ago, just went to my local Mitsu dealer and they ordered one up (can't remember part no!) it was a bit pricey but worth doing, also a good time to clean the magnets in the sump.
Good luck
