My 94 l300, the last couple of day won't idle when the motor has warmed up, it's great when cold, but once it's warmed up it tries to sit on 500 RPM and ultimately stalls. for some reason if you choke the carby it will idle again, but goes straight back to stalling as soon as you lift your hand. Any Ideas? I'm getting desperate.

First check that the PCV (positive Crankshaft Ventilation Valve) is seated properly, And while your at it a general check of all vacuum hoses for leaks, or worse, blocked or not connected. Secondly check timing with a timing light, at worst your timing belt could be one notch out if no adjustment left at distributor. For chapters on fuel management and carby email me miris@orcon.net.nz ask for chapters 5 & 8.
