Got this error code and the solution from the Mitsubishi dealer was to reprogram my car to lower the sensor sensitivity. Therefore, they did not tried to find the cause of the problem, but disabled the check engine warning by somehow disabling the sensor.

My car is a Lancer GT 2012, 26K km only.

They told me this was a know problem and as per Mitsibushi instructions, but I found no public technical note about that sensor problem.

Any opinion or similar experience ?

Finally found this:

TSB 13-13-001rev11 seems to be an official updage to solve "MIL Illumination, DTC P0300" problem. This is the version they reprogrammed my car.

So far it looks that the dealer correctly followed the Mitsubishi procedure for the problem.

But still, I would be curious to know if other had the same problem.

Also, my 2012 GT does not sound as smooth and as good as my older 2009 GTS. When I start it, I always have the feeling it will stall, but it don't. It is like this since new. It might be normal, but I wonder if others have the same feeling with their GT.

Thanks in advance for replies.

reflashes are common on nearly every make for a variety of things..they cant anticipate 100% of everything that happens in the real world

as for the idle..try a pcm/adaptives reset and relearn
