Hi, I've just purchased a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII, and I can't figure out what this symbol means, it's on a button under the handbrake and also there's a container under the hood with it on the cap. I previously owned a Honda and never seen it before, and forgot to ask the salesperson about it default/sad.gif' ...

Hi. I have a 2004 Endeavor. For no apparent reason my radio, dome lights and keyless entry doesn't work. My screen says "Communications Error". I checked the the interior fuse and it seemed fine and the engine campartment fuse has a combined piece wrapped with plastic. Any ideas? Thanks for anyone's help.

I noticed I was not the only one with an electric problem, involving he tail lights, marker lights, and interiorlights not working.
The problem in my car was the stereo that was installed earlier, it overloaded the circuit and kept blowing the fuse. So if anyone has this problem, try unhooking the stereo, and it replacing the taillight fuse.

Hi,
I have a 99' Spyder convertible which doesn't "covert." I took it to the dealer for service and was told that it needs a motor on both the left and the right sides. These are about $300 each. Does anyone know of a good source for Mitsu convertible parts online? I haven't seen any listings when I've surfed the web today...just other Mitsu parts.

Hi I have a 2004 outlander from the us. I bought it at a dealer in Canada. They assured me that the warranty was fine. I have had warranty work done and now in the middle of more warranty work I am told that canada does not honor warranty of cars from the us regardless of the fact that the car was purchased in good faith from a mitsu dealer.
Any ideas??

I admit, I've joined this forum with the sole purpose of exposing the nation's worst Mitsubishi dealer.

This is probably a dumb sounding question but my son has a 93 Laser and one of his friends says he can easily swap the 1.8 with a 2.2 from a Honda, I know you can put motors from other makes into cars but most of the time it is more costly and a pain than just using a motor made for your car. Just wondering!

I disconnected the battery on my 98 Montero Sport to work on my stereo a few days before I went in for a Smog test...It failed only because a few of the sensors on the OBDII have not reset themselves. I discovered that "specific drive cycles" are required by Mitsubishi's from 97-01 to reset these sensors. Other brand imports are not as specific and only require a minimal drive...
