First one, I bought ipod adapter MZ607411EX, instructions don't show how to hook up when you have dvd system, back of head unit has one 13 pin din and 3 connector harness' - do I hook the 13 pin din coming from the dvd system into the ipod adapter unit then use the 13 pin ipod...

I just went and bought some new door speakers for this car, 6 1/2". I came home took the panels off and see they dont fit the mounting holes, the diamenter and pattern of the new speakers is smaller then the factories mounting points. Do i drill new holes, even though im bearly gonna catch metal? Is there a certain brand that will work with the exact mounting holes? THANKS

The lights won't work on the dash and also on the centre panel were the a/c gauges are. the only lights that work on the dash is the indicators, high beam light, hand brake and oil and fuel lights.

I have a 1997 Eclipse GSX with an Infiniti Sound system (not sure if it's stock or manufacture add on)

I'm trying to install an alpine deck and I have a wiring diagram from modifiedlife.com and it's not 100% accurate

Questions:

1.Does the Infiniti system use an amplifier? I believe there is one under my passenger seat but I never got a chance to remove...

I received an iTrip for christmas for my Microsoft Zune so I could play it in the car. Needless to say, while it does play through an FM station (when I can find one) it is not in the quality I would like.

it didn't come with an entry remote but the guy i bought the car from only had a duplicated key, he was the second owner and got the duplicated key from the first owner.
