I searched and couldnt find anything helpful. Where do I get a speaker that will replace the 3.5" center dash speaker and do I need any different speaker wires or harnesses and if possible where could I get a factory speaker?

I need help. it's 10 ten days I see on my display CT and every time I switch on the car the time is changed. I think it depends on something on the radio but I'm not able to switch off the CT.

Hey there. I have a 2001 Mutsubishi Galant and recently the battery got disconnected. Now my stereo is requesting a security code. I called a place and they said I'm going to have to remove the stereo and will charge me for it. I am really scared that if the stereo gets pulled out, it'll never work the same again. Do I have any other options? Surely someone must have had this problem...

The deck is also Mitsubishi The only marks on the unit are CD-5000C-WS and labe in Japanese. Any help will be appreciated. regards

Hi new to the forum, I just purchased a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant.....I have alot of Burned CD-R's that I want to play in my car...but Im getting a error code E 02
Is there a work around to get these disc to play.....

I am now being charged for the stupid code! I called several dealerships and they won't give me the code over the phone with just the VIN, however, they used to do so..I didn't have to have the serial number! Normally the first code worked! So, I ask how to get the serial number..gotta take out the stereo deck and read it. THEN I get charged $30 for the code!

I'm trying to hook my MP3 player into the stock head end unit in my '04 Endeavor Limited. Back of the unit has an availble 13 pin connector (see pic). When I connect an aux input adapter (to get RCAs) I get no signal. I had hoped it would over ride the CD signal or something. Any ideas on how to use this jack?

installing a 10" JL W3 into my 1994 eclipse GS, ran into a prob can't get the power cable to the inside of my kar from the battery, i've already tried going through the firewall but its nearly impossible to get that wire through to the cab, any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks.

I have tried two used in-dash CD players (Mitsubishi part number A999PC1X01) in my 1999 Diamante and they do not work. All I get is an E-02 error code. This the the single-disk player that mounts under the factory radio and plugs into it with a cable. Before I try another, I would like to verify that this cd player is the correct part number. Does anybody know for sure?

HI, I own a 2004 lancer which has an 85A alternator. Im running a 553W RMS amp and 2 12" subs are running in parralell with the amp. The problem Im having is that while Im driving and have the bass poundin my headlights dim quit badly. Will this damage the alternator??? and how do I stop this??? is it as simple as putting in a 3Farad capacitor ???

Hi, for some unkown reason, my audio system was down and asked for a code. I called the dealer and they asked for the radio serial number to give me the radio code.
I learned I need to take the dash off and find that serial number on the top of radio. Anybody has idea how to do that or refer me some source that can guide me to take the radio out?

I just had a 7.2 legacy screen molded into my 93 eclipse dash piece. I have one problem tho, which isn't too bad but my shifter (auto) is too tall and kinda blocks the tv alil bit. It has the overdrive on/off switch built into the shifter. Any ideas on if the shifter can be changed so its smaller?

Radio on FM fades in out. Also volume spikes (and nearly wakes the dead).

I own the triton GLX which comes standard with 2 front speakers. The up-market GLS comes standard with 4 speakers front and rear. Since these cars are nearly identical apart from a few extras I am hoping they use the same wiring harness. Can anybody confirm if this is the case? If so is the player connected to all 4 speakes and is it a matter of adding some real speakers in place of the rear dummy...

i have an aiwa 6 disk cd changer. the remote part that controls the cd changer is i think broken. when i turn it on it says "er. 9" i am not sure what that means cuz i have been searching for an answer.i know it has to be on a certain station and im sure its 88.1 but it still says er. 9 when its on that station. what is wrong with it? do i need a new remote or wires or wut????? help me...

I got recently installed an LCD display and an extra 500 watts amplifier in my Eclipse. The interior lights of the car are looking some what dim. Is there some thing wrong with the connection or I need to fetch extra wires from out side the battery.
