Hey all.. newbie here with a brand new car and a serious itch to mod! I have a Mystic Blue Pearl '05 Lancer ES (gray interior) with a manual tranny. I would like some advice and howto's regarding some simple, weekend mods that can be done to this daily driver. I've never done any mods to any of my cars before so please keep that in mind. It'd help if I could get some sites, etc...

has anyone painted with satin clear coat? ive seen a few cars that were black with a matte or satin finish and was wondering if anyone had any information on it?

My remote central locking stopped working recently, so I did the logical thing and replaced the battery in the key unit. This did not solve the problem. Is there something inside the car that needs replacing too?

1. My passenger door handle broke and I bought a new one. I have the entire door panel off, the screw out of the end of the door, and have it pried off somewhat. Triton tail lights are held in by two screws which have fallen out of my car - does anyone know what these screws are as they appear to be special screws and mitsubishi are taking ages getting back to me???

Through the company I work for I can get hold of spare parts for most RECARO seats. On occassions I know it can be difficult or at least very expensive to get replacement parts.

I would like to help anyone if I can but first I need to collate information about what type of seat is fitted to which model Mitsubishi. I would appreciate if anyone could help with getting the info.

I got them in the mail, (they're manual not electric) and they never sent me the cover that goes over on the inside of the car, anyone know where I could get these? i have a 94 pajero 2.8d exceed. the problem i have is thus: the fron climate control works perfect, when you press REAR on the rear panel the lights on the fron comes on, press again it goes off, as it should. however, the rear panel appears to have no power as none of the button lights are illuminating and the 2 seperate fans(air con in boot and fan under seat) are BOTH not working.
