I have been offroading for over 15 years now. Always with a Suzuki Samurai. I love the box design and 'back to basics' setup. Due to it's light weight and compact dimensions, it is a ideal offroader and can compete with other big and powerfull 4x4's.
The only disadvantage is his tiny 1.3 engine. Enough to play around, but in competition a little slow and lack of torque.
In the future we like to do more racing and trophy's, so it was time to start with a project.
Here we go:

Billed as the biggest auto show in America, the Chicago Auto Show never has a lot of debuts, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up in quality. This year's show is no different with a small number of automakers holding press conferences and debuts rumored (and in some cases confirmed) to include the Chevy Camaro Z28, the VW Jetta GLI and the Acura TL; plus more from Dodge, Hyundai and Suzuki.

Mitsubishi may look to introduce a new flagship model and is currently in talks with Nissan to base the car on the current Infiniti M chassis.
According to the Nikkei daily business news, the M (which is sold as the Nissan Fuga in Japan) could be used as a donor vehicle, allowing Mitsubishi to avoid heavy R&D costs – especially for what will no doubt be a low-volume model. Mitsubishi hasn't built anything close to a luxury car since the Diamante was cut from its lineup in 2005.
Casting skepticism on this news are recent reports from Mitsubishi boss Osamu Masuko that his company has no intention of creating partnerships with other automakers in order to expand Mitsu's lineup. An expansion is in need, however, after the automaker announced recently it would cut the Eclipse, Endeavor and Galant models from its lineup.
The Mitsubishi-badged M could reportedly go on sale in Japan this year.

The last of the major auto shows for this season, the New York Auto Show marks the return of Spring, when those who don't live in warmer climates can stop looking at cars and start driving them again.
Last but certainly not least, the NY show allows many automakers to deliver high performance versions of existing models and introduce less conventional vehicles. Plus, it's also an important venue for luxury brands to debut their wares in front of one of the wealthiest audiences in the world. As a result automakers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz often show some impressive hardware, although so far both have been quiet on debut announcements.
Important premieres set for this year's show include the Nissan Juke, Infiniti QX56, MINI Countryman, Hyundai Sonata V6 and Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Hyundai Equus, Lexus CT200h, Acura TSX Sport Wagon, BMW 335is, Suzuki Kizashi V6, 2011 Kia Optima, 2011 Kia Sportage, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, Porsche 911 Turbo S, 2011 Porsche Cayenne and the Aston Martin Rapide. Several rumors have also suggested Scion will debut its first al-new model in several years.

Not sure is this is the correct spot, Moderators please feel free to move if need to..
I recently bought a 97 Pajero 3.0 V6 SWB 12valve engine with 197000km in the clock, not sure about the engine code. But just after receiving the vehicle replaced the lifter for they was noisy as normal & the valve stem seals & cambelt, they were totally worn. Now its starting to use oil... and a lot, about 4liters over 1000km.... Does this engine have a splash plate under the breather? For I`m wondering if the guys doing to lifters & the seals maybe missplaced it & is now breathing the oil..?? Any thoughts?

Traditionally the Los Angeles International Auto Show was little more than a side-bar to the larger Detroit Show, focusing mostly on green technology cars and convertibles. While that still holds true, the market for hybrids and electric cars has grown considerably and so LA has taken center stage as the car show for environmentally friendly vehicles.
For several years now the LA show has taken up a new spot on the calendar, falling between the Paris and Detroit shows, meaning it gets more of the North American debuts. Plus, with Los Angeles now the center of car culture in North America, the show continues to grow, this year promising 50 vehicle debuts, including 20 world premieres.

Held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada, the SEMA Show 2010 is an industry event for the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Far more than just a trade show, SEMA brings together tuners and parts suppliers from across the auto industry to display their latest products using some of the most highly-modified and colorful vehicles anywhere in the world. Sometimes these creations are things of beauty, and some time they are outright disasters, which is part of what makes the SEMA Show so entertaining.
With modified hot rods, muscle cars and sport compact cars, mainstream automakers are continuing to have an increasingly important presence at SEMA. This year's show includes major displays from Ford (highlighting the Fiesta and Mustang), Chevy (highlighting the Camaro and Silverado HD), Honda (CR-Z), Scion, Chrysler, Dodge, Hyundai, Subaru, Kia and Lexus.
Major areas of interest at SEMA include Racing and Performance, Wheels and Tires, as well as Trucks, SUVs and Off-Road vehicles.
AutoGuide's 2010 SEMA Preview page will be updated with live coverage from the show starting November 2nd. Check the link below for the latest updates.

So the car I found was a 2001 Toyota Verossa. Man I can tell you I love these cars.
With some time of searching up on these cars I am set on getting the 2001-2002 verossa turbo. Yes a huge change from the mitsubishi 380 I was after. But well nothing IMO I have seen suits me more to the ground than these. And yay they are turbo.
So dose any one have some good vids of these with the sounds they make. And spec sheets of the speed get up and go ect.

Well I took one out to see what they were like. The vtec and all.
Anyway I must say I was shocked. The car was a slug. No power till 5,000rpm then you could here the vtec change over and man I was expecting a kick in the guts. And nothing just a lot of revs. Mine would have trashed it in 5th while I was in second taking of from 40km/hr to toped out 120km/hr.
I don't think it was because the car had been thrashed. I knew the owner and it had full paper work of it's history since the owner bought it brand new. And it had only had 100,000kms on it. And took it to my local mechanic. who said great condition. Nothing wrong with it. But man that is a second one which is a slug I have tried. Because I have also done the 1997 Prelude SIR. Yes that was nippy but not that up fast. Also driven a Integra and it was not all what they are cracked up to be.
Dads 06 honda accord ivtec has 70,000 aprox kays on it. And has full history on it. Nothing wrong at all. Wonderful car. Great on everything. Even with the 3.0v6 it gets down to 6.6lt-100kms if very gentle on it.
But when I drove it and drove the same as mine, I was so shocked. Slug slug slug. Good handling though. But nothing. Once it got reved up to 5,000 she felt very rushed. Then hit the 6,750rpm she was slugged. Nothing more but change gear.
What on earth is it? Why are these supposed small sports cars slow. And new vtecs so sluggish over a 30r? It really is getting me mad. I had a fight the other day about vtec, and was told that nothing can beat it. And I said they rubbish. And man hell on wheels.

For 2010 the New York Auto Show has a bit of everything and continues to deliver with a concentrated presence of luxury vehicles. But this year the luxury fits into numerous niche segments. On one end, there's the world premiere of the 2011 Infiniti QX56 SUV, while on the other there's the North American debut of the Lexus CT200h hybrid hatchback. Luxury will even take wagon form, with Acura announcing the TSX Sport Wagon, while rumors suggest Cadillac will unveil a CTS-V SportWagon. Heck, Hyundai even has a flagship luxury sedan, called the Equus, that is designed to compete with cars like the Mercedes S-Class. Aston Martin is showing its four-door Rapide and Porsche has on display its Cayenne S Hybrid SUV.
In more traditional luxury, BMW is unveiling the all-new 2011 5 Series for the first time in North America, flanked by the facelifted 3 Series, 335is, 2011 X5 and Alpina B7.
Outside the luxury sphere there are exciting vehicles, including crossovers like the Nissan Juke, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, 2011 Kia Sportage and MINI Countryman. And when it comes to sedans, the Korean automakers are showing important new contenders like the 2011 Kia Optima, as well as turbocharged and hybrid versions of the Hyundai Sonata.
And after unveiling the all-new Legacy and Outback last year, Subaru has the incredible new Impreza WRX which gains the STI's wide-body for 2011.

While European automakers initially ignored hybrid technology, it seems as though the craze has finally caught on, with everyone from Ferrari to Porsche announcing hybrid models of one kind or another. Ferrari will debut a 599 Hybrid concept, while Porsche will show the GT3 R Hybrid race car and a hybrid version of the 2011 Cayenne.
Porsche's new parent company, Volkswagen, also has plenty of hybrid news. VW will showcase its new Touareg SUV, with a hybrid version. In addition, another VW-brand company, Audi, will show off a hybrid version of its new A8. Other hybrids include the Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid and the Lexus CT200h hybrid.
Other show highlights are sure to include a new high-performance version of the Lamborghini Gallardo, referred to as either the LP57-4 SuperVeloce or the LP570-4 Superleggera, as well as Audi's new RS5. Plus, Mercedes-tuner Carlsson is debuting its new C25, an SL65-based supercar while VW/Audi-tuner ABT Sportsline is showing-off a 600-hp Audi R8 GTR, an R8 Spyder, A8 and a modified Volkswagen Golf R.

The North American International Auto Show, hosted each year in Detroit, appears set to return to its former glory for 2010. Many of the automakers absent from last year will be displaying and introducing models, while fears of bankruptcy for the U.S. manufacturers have been realized and have now subsided thanks to generous government aid and the help of foreign partners, the cooperation of the unions and a lot of tough decisions.
Important debuts for the first auto show of 2010 include the Honda CR-Z hybrid sports car, a Dedicated Hybrid Concept from Toyota, the BMW Z4 sDrive35i, the MINI Moke Concept and the 2011 Ford Mustang GT.

So, Hot Rod Magazine got to see the building of the first Camaros. One is being built for the Grand Am, a Dale Earnhardt Jr. Edition, a "Camaro Black" version (with a V6), and one with the C6 Z06 LS7. And all that is fine and dandy, until I reached the pages with the sketches of a 2012 Firebird, drawn by Murray Pfaff, a Detroit Auto Designer. It's only an idea floating around GM supposedly but I would like to see one if it looked like any of these designs...

Itasha Gathering in Odaiba, Tokyo on the 4th of October 2009. For those who are not aware, an Itasha is a car decked out with anime decals!
It translate to "painful car", which can be viewed as painfully embarrassing for the owner or painful to their wallets. It is a relatively new scene here in Japan and was very interesting to see. There were some nice example of nicely done up cars which also has the performance to match, so you can laugh at them until they whoop your ass on the track. There were close to 800 cars with not enough time to get the details but we did what was possible to show the event as a whole. Just about any type of vehicle participated in the event from VIP, Imports, Classics, K-Cars, Full tuned Sports, Wagons, Family and ECO.
Some may feel that the vehicles have been defaced and some may take a more light-hearted view. One thing that is for certain is that there are alot of creative ways to accent your vehicle with vinyl and many of the designs took alot of time and effort to create.
Hope you guy enjoy the pictures and get some creative inspiration out of them.

I have been trying to find out this information for a little while now & I can't find any hard facts. I want to know if the current ZR1 (C6 model) will ONLY run through the 2010 model year or if maybe 2011 will be the last year. Everything that I have been finding has the 2011 Vette as a new C7 Vette with a redesign.
So anyone know when the last year of the ZR1 will be? 2010? 2011? Anyone?
If you have a website with hard facts....please post it.
