hi guys -
I've noticed that sometimes (looks like when it's kidda cold outside, -5 and below) the tire pressure light goes ON when after I drive for ~ 15 min -> it goes off
It does not happen all the time but still... I've checked the pressure (it should be 32 psi) and I actually had ~ 34psi for all tires...
anyone knows why? is it normal?

On an AWD Endeavor, do the front tires wear faster than the rears - or vice versa?
(I just picked up a used Endeavor, and the front tires show more wear - I'm trying to figure out if they need to be rotated - or if they have already been rotated.)
Thanks in advance. default/' ...

Hi Guys,
I have an 04 AWD Endeavor LS and have been very happy with it until lately. ITs got about 65k on the clock.
I noticed a few weeks back it had started making a constant low rumble/whine noise when driving normally from about 30 MPH up. The noise seems to come from the rear. It gets worse when turning left; better when turning right.
My first thought was...

Hi, I own a 2004 Endeavor. My clock / radio light bulbs have burned out. I took it to the dealer, they opened it in front of me and the bulbs under the blue tiny covers where black and blown. They told me that bulbs are not made for that and I need to buy a whole new clock for $300+. I called Mitsubishi corporate and they told me the same thing. I have tried to match up the bulbs but...

I just drove my 2004 Endeavor home tonight, and I am already thinking of adding on to the stock stereo. Its an LS model with an adequate sound system, but after trading in my puny Toyota pickup, I have long awaited the chance (room) to install a substantial sound system. I will retain the stock head unit because I don't want to hack up the dash as of yet, but I would like to add an...

i have an 2004 endeavor ls with exactly 30000 miles on it. my firestone service center told me that my front brakes were 85% worn and my rears were 50% worn.
they recommended to do the front ones including replacing the ceramic pads & the rotors as well as the caliper servicing. total estimate including tax and labor for front only was $496.
do the rotors usually...

I have an '06 Endeavor with 18,000 miles on it. I got it last fall, so I haven't used the air conditioning until recently. It works really well, but on some longer trips, the AC shuts down for a minute and then turns back on. Of course it gets warm in the car when it's off. I've never had a car do this before and it doesn't seem right.
Anyone else experience this...

How do you replace the Rear Window Wiper? If you want to replace entire Blade must you get it from the dealer? It seems to be one piece. I guess you can just replace the wiper blade itself. Thanks!

Hello!
I have had a whirring sound coming from the front of my Endeavor for over a year now. It commences upon starting my car - not when I've been driving it for a while. I tend to think it is a pulley causing the sound.
I am in the process of trying to figure out where the belt tensioner is. How do you loosen the belt? On other cars I usually just loosen the...

Hi everyone,
My 2004 AWD Endeavor has 70K miles on it. I just had timing belt and water pump replaced as preventative. The mechanic suggested that I change the oxygen sensors. He told me he would do them all for one hour labor.
A few questions:
1. How many are there? 2 or 4
2. Is it easy enough to replace them myself (and if so how) or for 1 hour labor...

At 19,000+ miles on a 2004 Endeavor AWD (Mfr. Date 4/2003), I began getting a "whirring" sound from (I think) the drive train. Definitely not a belt whine, and doesn't seem to be a wheel or tire noise since it sounds the same on both sides. I followed the earlier thread on this issue that indicated possibly failing propeller shaft bearings or a rear diff problem. If any of you...

Hi all...I have a 2004 LS Ende with 35000 miles on her. Lately when I depress the accellerator I can hear rattling noise coming from underneath the truck. The noise sounds similar to the sound that your brakes make when they rub against the rotors..or like metal dragging across the ground. I thought at first it might be a belt or a pully but it soounds like it is coming from underneath the...

BUT, as I look at the owner's manual I see programm requires two keys to program a third -- seems...

Hello All-
I just wanted to relay my recent experience with acquiring a spare key for my 2004 Endeavor. It all started when I looked into getting a remote start unit for my vehicle. I was told that since my (our) car uses a transponder key, that a spare located under the dash would be necessary to fool the vehicle's security system. I was then told that I would have to visit the dealer...
