Saw this event on another board:
Title says alot, there will be a car show in MI speedway. on July 18th.
Get some track time. That's right anyone who puts a car in the show will get to take it round the big 2 mile track 2-3 laps. there are a lot of classics at this event normally, but like to see more tuners and modern cars in the mix.
Here is the link for the site to sign up (there is an online feature):

Last thursday I went to the dealership to get some qoutes on a 09 Lancer GTS. Well after about 4 hours of negotiating I came out with a set price of basically the lowest they would go before I left with no deal. Anyways the next day I got the same price with more options at Max Madsen in Downers Grove and purchased the car there. Well today, a little over a week later I get a follow up call from South Holland asking if I am still interested. I said I already purchased because I got a better deal somewhere else. After a little bit of "yelling at me" they finalized the call by calling me an "****" and hanging up.
Now I had nothing bad to say about the dealership, but no longer will I EVER recommend this dealership to anyone. And I certainly won't be back. I think that is so rude and very unproffesional. I'm sorry that I even have to post something like this.
So stay away from them unless you like threatening phone calls.

Mitsubishi Dream Team Rides Again!
This year's event will start at the Library Pub at 12:00 Noon. We will leave at 1:00 PM to go to the Woodward Dream Cruise. This is a good opportunity to get something to eat before the cruise.
The route we will take to the cruise is the following:
- turn right (North) out of the Library Pub parking lot on Haggerty
- right (East) on Pontiac Trail
- Left (North) on Orchard Lake
- right (Southeast on Woodward)
Once we are on Woodward we will form two lanes for our parade. We will continue past the main viewing and make a U-turn to head back up Woodward. Again forming two lanes of Mitsubishi vehicles.
After completion of this route (all those who wish to), will retrace our path back to the Library Pub for an after cruise social.
6363 Haggerty Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48322-5031
Let's see if we can get more cars for this year!
Please respond if you want to participate and what year and model car you will be bringing.

Dec 1 2007: Kart 2 Kart meet - Detroit, MI
For those who have been and have raced, Kart 2 Kart is MI's state of the art "indoor"go-karting facility. These are not your normal everyday go karts, you have to wear a helmet and neck brace. A little better than the ones we race at Grady's...not by much, just a tad.
I was thinking we can meet up in the morning, go do some awsome karting, maybe go out for dinner and drinks or head out to Dave & Busters.
We can add things as we go if you would like, but I would like to hear who is very interested?

I'm just seeing if this might peak anyone's interest. It could be a single-day or multi-day thing. It would be a good chance to get together and meet up with other tuners and possibly get some good runs in (nothing illegal of course wink*wink). Offer input if you want. I'm just tired of seeing all of these road rallies that cost 15 grand per person, that are just for millionaire playboys only. Well, what I was kickin around was like a run from KC to Springfield, then to the Sloo and back. We can split it up as far as days go. Maybe like fifteen or 20 bucks per car for entry unless we split the the trip up and then cheap hotel reservations will have to be made. It's a trip that can be made in one day but that's alot of punishment on peoples cars. I'm very open to suggestions. If we take half of the total of the entry fees and donate it to a relief fund for Greensburg, the stores that we would have to stop at (to pick up cards), would probably be more willing to participate. Then the winner gets the remainder of the money. I'm looking at late summer for this event, but I've got to know if people are interested first. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a honda guy but I'm hoping to get as many tuners out there as possible.

The 2006 All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2006. This year we have a new location. It will be at the Rogers Middle School, in Rogers, MN.
The All Mitsu Cookout is in its eighth year and keeps growing every year. Last year we had 137 cars and we plan to break that record again this year. The Cookout is open to all Mitsubishi built cars and it is by far the biggest Mitsubishi event within 400 miles of the Minneapolis area.
And again for this year we'll have trophies for the car show portion and tons of food for everyone. Plus our sponsors always bring some great prizes.
Complete details about the All Mitsu Cookout can be found at:
http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2006.htmlHope you can make it,
Curt

I'm posting this for another Club3g member. I hope to see everyone there.
http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50127QUOTE(Sleepr03GT)
Alright so the decision has been made for the Columbia sector of Club3g to arrange a meet for everyone in the STL, KC, Springfield areas as well as anyone else that wants to come from other areas of the south central or great lakes region. My personal Goal, is to see 20 cars at this meet.
The date: March 18th 2006, should be around spring break for everyone on a saturday
The location: Southside Pizza on the Southern part of Columbia MO
area map vv
http://mq-mapgend.websys.aol.com/?e...%26yt29 %40%24
regional map vv
http://mq-mapgend.websys.aol.com/?e...%40zau u%24%3a
or you can call me for directions from anywhere in town. pm me for phone #
Activities: Lunch at Southside Pizza (really good I promise), Photoshoot, a Carwash is across the street if anyone doesn't feel like washing, traveling, and rewashing highway dust and dirt, and anything else anyone wants to do. It is a decent sized parking lot, and the banquet hall next door is rarely open so we should have plenty of space to line up parking
While your here:
We have a very large Bass Pro shop, as well as plenty of shopping ( for the significant others that are brought along) and plenty of good restaurants for the evening, I can compile a list of them all if anyone wants to know for dinner, we have some mini-golf, 1 place for go-karts, movie theatres, frozen custard places, roller rink... , bowling, paintball.
I'd like to start things at Noon at the latest, so anyone coming from out of state may need to come the night b4, in that case we can arrange a pre-meet meeting of sorts
So far, I, Sleepr03GT and 3g3clips are arranging this and attending the meet so contact either of us for questions regarding the meet, suggestions, or concerns.
Prolly not any street racing gunna be happenin' so no fun, maybe next year or later we can run up to the new track in moberly though
There is a local awd/2wd dyno in town in case anyone is interested as well, parking is somewhat limited there and should be around 80$ for 3 runs w/o a/f setup, and more for tuning etc.
as for a list of who is coming, post below if you think you will be attending and I will add you to the list.
