Folks, I have a Lancer, year 2000. The other day, car wouldnt start. All of my electrics work perfect. When I went to start, nothing was happening, apart from lights on the dashboard flicking on and off, before eventually there was nothing. Today I jumpstarted and she worked. Is this a probleam with my battery, or something else. As I thought if there was a probleam with my battery the lights and electrics wouldnt be 100%, which they were. Have never had a probleam with the car, as you are all aware Lancers are ultra reliable, not as if some peice of crap like Fiat or whatever.

Hi All
Just bought a 2004 Mitsubishi Shogun DI-D with MP7000 SAT NAV system.
I live in N Irealnd & the current CD for the SAT NAV is for England & a spare one for Benelux countries. They are both around 2004 vintage Versions 5.8 & 6.4 (MZ312092) respec.
I'm looking for a more up to date CD Version for GB & Ireland. Anyone know of where I can get one.

Hi there! I'm interested in a 1.6 Lancer MIVEC, it's one of the few cars i like that i can get insured on.
I don't have a huge budget so can't afford to put alot of money into the car, and I've been warned that MIVEC engine's are although brilliant machines, that when they give trouble very few people know how to properly work on one in Ireland,
Just curious can anyone help whether this is a good decision..i have between 5,000-6,000 Euro to buy the car.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks Andy,

Now it seems to be totally jammed after my friend tryed to open it open and see what the probleam was. There is a CD inside it. I was planning on buying a new cd player anyway, will the fact that there is a cd stuck inside be a probleam if I am planning on get a new one.

Hey folks,
Just found the site this evening, and thought I'd take the chance to ask some questions if I may..
- I have a 1999 automatic Mitsubishi Mirage import from Japan, and it'll be due its first service soon, so can anyone recommend a good (but reasonable) garage in the Dublin area that I can take it into?
- What's the story with parts? Easy enough to get, or are they interchangeable with Irish Colts?
- I only got one key with it (built in central locking button) and would like to get a spare - just in case! The alarm system (un)locks the doors anyway so can I just get a standard key for it, or does it have to have whatever electronics are in the original?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
