i have a new l200 2007 model and an incredible problem with cold start !
i`ve seen this problem also with the older model on this forum ,
it`s starts verry well when is warm but in the cold mornings is verry hard to start it !
does enyone know the problem ? , mitsubishi mechanics can`t find it or.... they don`t whant to admit a problem. spark and batery checked !

My 2004 4Life starts perfectly from cold but will not start when hot. Have to leave it to cool before it will run. Not overheating and runs fine.

My 1986 Mighty Max's door seals are shot and it started to let rainwater into the cab. Now my interior door panels are rotted from the rainwater. having a nightmare as i cannot find where to tap into cables, cant get near fusebox as it is tucked away beneath dash so wondering if any of you had done it before and could give some much needed advice, also if anyone has a copy of a wiring diagram or something it could greatly help

Anyone familiar with 2007 L200? (aka Triton). I was wondering if i can replace the standard Interface (small one) with a 2 din multimedia device (japan made, so a litle bit smaller than 2 din), which includes touch screen, gps, etc. Maybe one of you knows how to remove the cover of the standard interface.

Guys, i have almost 200,000 km. The engine is blowing some smoke and been told the valve seals need replacing. The car has been running on LPG for almost 10 yrs. The idea of an engine swap has crossed my mind. Something wth more power. I havent heard of an engine swap in a triton, but what would fit and how difficult is a job like this to do?

When i drive short distance there is not really a problem , but if i drive more than 200km , i need to feel in at least 1L water.

I have a 2005 2.8l diesel L200 originally from Thailand. I was thinking about running it on a 50% mix of veg oil and ofcourse paying the necessary duty!! I was wondering if anyone else had tried this or had any advice on the matter. Will it still start ok in cold weather? Is there any long term problems?

Hi I can't start my L200 Diesel unless I bump start it.

I turn the key and there's just a clicking sound, so I have cleaned the battery terminals and taken it for a long run but the starter motor will not turn, something under the bonnet just clicks when I turn the key???

I have a 2001 L200 animal and my window washers have stopped working properly. The motor is working fine. Taking off the water supply hose reveals a small metal bearing. This bearing falls back, but when washers are operated it is forced back up and blocks the hose totally. Do I need to buy a new washer hose or is there a way this can be fixed? Ive got an L200 with an engine speed control problem.

No management light is up and the problem is a little intermittent. In summary it will hold the RPM at around 1300 for a period of a 30 before allowing it to drop to normal.

When driving, the truck surges and holds back, as if to say there is a throttle problem.
