I have noticed that when i turn off my eclipse the engine shuts off very violently and causes the whole car to shake. is this normal? Also on another note, i installed a V2 intake by aem and my idle is all over the place. it idles around 2k rpm and bounces up and down. I have reset the battery twice and replaced several hoses, what could be causing this?

I'm looking at getting a set of these Ventvisors for my 1990 GSX. Does anybody have any input pro or con?

Well I bought my car with the starter hot wired to the TOP fog light button. Well tonight I discovered under that button, another fog light button. If you push it while the dims are on, the fog lights will come on AS LONG AS YOU HOLD IT DOWN. If you let go of it, they shut off. How can I get my fog lights to come on with my dims? You can hear it "click" when you push the button.

Hello, I just bought a 1990 gs turbo for 500$ .. the guy said it needed some work.. So I knew what i was getting myself into.. First off, I replaced the front engine motor mount. Then I got some new tires and spark plugs. It did not pass smog, The guy said the motor has is sputtering a bit and puts out too much gasses.. What should I do now? Any help would be appreciated.. I bought a 98 Eclipse spyder 2.4l automatic, non turbo, single over head cam for my wife.

It was wrecked in the front end and it still ran fine, just needed a radiator & some body work.

Got all that replaced, got a new radiator, and sent it to get painted. On my way to the paint shop the check engine light came on for the first time.

I have a 1990 eclipse turbo awd 2.0 manuel and for the past five days i have been trying to figure out why it wont start. first i took the fuel pump out and it did not work in the tank but hooked to a battery it works so i hooked it to a battery that i put in the trunk and put it back in the tank and it worked but now i have no spark either im so lost PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 96 gst spyder eclipse and I recently switched it over to a 5speed I put a 97 gst eclipse flywheel and a starter off a 93 talon which according to the books are the same starter but the starter engages.. but doesn't touch the flywheel?

Hello, I posted this elsewhere but didn't get any feedback (maybe because it was in the wrong forum, sorry!)

But anyway I changed out my spark plugs, wires and fuel pressure solenoid and it runs, but it feels a lot slower.

What do you guys think is causing this?

I know that nitrous can be really hard on an engine, but I have read of a system by Venom that has a few options for applications. I know it doesn't have to be that brand specific, but is it any safer on an engine to have a turbo that is timed and linked to the throttle/rpms? OK, so I've had a problem with my car since I bought it... It seems to hit fuel cut at max boost with the stock T-25. (It jerks a couple times at WOT around 3-4k and sometimes higher)

I have a GReddy type RS BOV on the car and a K&N filter. Not really any other performance mods. I was told to adjust my BOV spring and I did, and it helped a little, but not much.

My speedo cluster is destroyed and I was looking into buying a used one.

I was woundering what will happen to my milage if I get as new or used guage cluster?

Will my milage reset itself on the new cluster or will it show the existing milage on the cluster that I buy?

Ive tryed all 4 wires on my o2 comign off my exhaust manifold. Nothing seem to give me that RICER led bounce show. I eiether get a solid green light or nothing. I at one time had half the red, part of the green lite up. I tryed running the car to see if it would read and then start bouncing, and nothing. What wire do I tap into
