I'm having a strange noise come from my engine compartment while driving. It isn't a loud noise, or banging/clacking noise. It is more of a vibration type noise but I can't feel it, or can barely feel it. I'm not sure if I feel it in the peddle or it is my imagination.

When under full throttle it barely makes the noise. When under heavy deceleration while in gear it...

My engine busted the bearings on the crankshaft and a piston shot out...dont ask me how, one of the garages thought it was just a lifter tick....

so anyway i wanted to get ripp pistons, but my delemma is,
its gunna be between 5000 and 7500 either way (aparently it takes 20 hours to take out an engine???)
either replace with a jasper engine or have it rebuilt with the ripp...

okay the issue is that i dont have the money or patiecne to swap the auto for a 5spd. so is there anyway to upgrade the stock tranny with shift kits or anything else like that

well i know that there where some people on here that where looking for some clear turn signal lights for the 03-05 eclipse so here it is:

I bought a 2003 Eclipse GS from a dealship about 2 months ago, with a body kid, spoiler, and magnaflow exhaust all put on the car.

The front bumper part of the body kit, has 2, what look like fog lights installed, and I have a red switch in the car, and doesn't work and no one knows what it is for. It isn't like a lightswitch where you can leave it on...

My SES light has been off and on for a few weeks now in my '03 GT, and Autozone just checked it and said it was PO141. Does this send the computer into "default" mode for the fuel-air mixture? I haven't noticed any rough idling or performance issues. I'm checking my fuel economy at the next fill-up, but I know it's not significantly lower, if any, than before.

What's the stock piping on my exhaust, anyone know the size? I plan on going to a muffler shop and getting a custom cat-back on... And what size would be the best to go up to?

I had the front brakes done at a local shop and after a few days they started to squeal badly. Two more trips to the repair shop and the noise would disappear for about a week and then start again.

So I have a 00 Eclipse GT with the premium sound and 4 disk in dash changer. I recently got the car but I think when I turn the radio way up to max it should be much louder, can anything be done to make it louder or is a new radio the only way to go. I don't want to loose the 4 disc in dash...quite a dilemma. I don't think installing new speakers will make a difference if the radio is not...
