everytime i turn my car on, i have to reset my stereo. is there a wire somewhere that needs to be connected to it to retain the memory?

Is there any point in putting money into a FWD car to reach over 300 hp, will you even see this power?

The code P1306 came on when i diag it and im trying to figure out how i can take care of it i have no power period when the car is off and the sun roof, interior lights, and radio does not work when its running power locks only work when car is on.....i checked all fuses and relays i could see i need to know where the battery back up circuit is located on this car hopefully this will take care of...

i was doing research on different year model 3g's and saw that the 2000 year model gs comes stock with more hp to crank than mine which is 2003 gs.. why is that? why would the same car with same body and same engine in a older year have more hp than a newer model? anyone?

Right, so I have a 2002 Sebring LXi a.k.a 02 Eclipse GT (w different body)
3.0L, atx, etc.

Today I started the car up and my TCL, and Anti-Lock brake lights came on. No climate control (no fan, ac, heat, etc). And to top it all off the radio doesn't appear to even have power to it.

Same thing happened 2 years ago but then everything started working again and I said...

My son just had his 60,000 mile servise done on his 2002 Eclipse GT. The store changed out the coolant and the transmission fluid with a flush machine. They also replaced the spark plugs and wires as well as the timing belt and serpentine belt. The cost was $1700 approx. Was this a good price for all this work or not?

I have a 2002 Eclipse GT, 56k miles, I'm getting a p0431 which is "Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)". I get some sputter when at a full stop. Also loss of power accelerating. I replaced the after cat O2 sensor with no change, still get the code. Does anyone have any ideas?

First off, i have a synchro problem so i was wondering if anyone knew roughly how much it costs to replace ALL of the synchros. Please help im having the hardest time trying to find a good website for alot aftermarket performance parts for my 04 Eclipse. I have found a little in the usual places ie. Jegs, Summit, even a couple of no name websites but nobody has the extreme performance that I am looking for any help would be great. Mainly looking for bolt on turbo kits and anything to beat the hell out of honda's.

my 03 gts' tranny runs near perfect (there is a mild gronning when i back-up, but it isn't that bad)... and in the autostick mode there is a long delay from 1st to 2nd, so if i wanna shift at 4500rpm i have to push it up at arround 4000.. it only does it from 1st to 2nd.. it is not a huge deal, but i hope it is not a sign of worse things to come... anyone eles have this problem???

Any suggestions on a switch, or modification, that will allow the foglamp switch to remain ON even after the lights/engine are turned off. I still only want the foglamps to operate when the headlights are on. The stock switch turns itself off when lights are off and I'm getting old and don't always remember to turn the switch back on everytime.

I've owned many cars for eight years or longer and never had a cracked dash (Honda, Acura, Infiniti, Chevy, Dodge, etc...) all parked outside 24/7. As many have experienced cracked dashes with the Eclipse, I WOULD consider this a defect in materials.

Does everyone who has a Mitsubishi with a cracked dash also experienced this with their other cars? I wouldn't think so.
