I have a 2003 GT (V-6) and this sound only occurs in the cooler months.
Here's an example of a situation that creates the sound:

1. Start car in the morning (no strange sound).

2. Drive car to the grocery store and shop.

Im trying to find a Tach wire to hookup to a remote starter I have.
I heard there are a couple I could use coming off the spark plug sensors on the engine, does anyone know which one because theres like 3 visible ones?
An even better one would be something located inside the drivers bay, anyone know of a tach signal I could use from there?

Gauge lights are out on 2002 GT. Just the speedometer, etc lights above the steering wheel. I checked the fuse on the left side of the dashboard for the gauges according to the placement given in the owner's manual, and it wasn't blown. Swapped it out with another of the same kind from a different system and no change - dash still dark and other system still...

Ok People ALot OF People talk alot on how the Rs Is slow but it seems its not true well at least in my eyes. here is my prob. my friend recently swap a sr20det in to his 90 nissan 240sx with full exhaust and s13 front end he thinks he's bad sh*t he's smoking me all the **** time is there any way i can keep up or beat him??? im not sure wha he does at the track but i need to beat him...

I havent really thought about this until now. Its comming due for my first oil change after having my car for a month. The car had 68k on it when i bought it. Now im not sure if the previous owner used synthetic oil for the duration of the car. I do know that it only had one owner. From what a lube center tech told me once you use synth you cant switch back because its horribly bad on the motor....

The other morning I started my car and let it run for a little while like I usually do. Out of nowhere i turned on my Headlights on my Eclipse Spyder 2001 and nothing happened (No Light), it didnt matter whether it was high beam or low beam, nothing turned on.

I dont know if this narrows down the issue but the Fog lights and every other light or blinker light, etc all still work, just literally the headlights dont work.

when i start my car after letting it set for a nite..it turns over really slowly. and then after i drive it for a lil while it'll start back up just fine. i thought maybe it could be the battery cuz maybe it lost its charge over the nite...but i noticed it's always really cold out when it does this, so i duno if it could be an anti-freeze problem(my anti-freeze is full) or what the deal...

ok i havea probel, i was trying to cahnge license plates, and the back one has some sort of panel that the screws go into to secure. but its loose, so its jsut spinning in place, with one screw left to take out. so now i have a problem, becasue its not linesd up with the other hole, so we cant put it back on eaither.

My 2003 eclipse gts has started to squeel like a pig when I start it. The noise comes from the engine bay and sounds it seems like a belt is causing it. It lasted for a second or two at first, but lately it has lasted longer for about 10 seconds and just yesterday It started to squeel when i was actully driving. It comes in and out and pretty much when the car is cold then goes away after like 10...

Does anyone know how to remove the instrument cluster on a 2000 eclipse? i got new gauges in and i don't want to go ahead and do it if there is an easy way to go about it because i've never took it apart. Thanks

When i turn my radio on in my 03 gs all i get is static, i check to make sure that the antena is conected up to my unit properly and it is, it was suggested that when the dealer removed the window tint that the messed up the antena thats embeded in the glass, andy ideas, or does anyone know where i can find a replacement ant.

I am looking for new headlights on my 05 eclipse. I want to get the ones that look slightly blue. I believe it is pure white lights... I can not find them anywere. Anyone know what I am talking about and know were I can get a pair?

I know with the Tein airshocks its a rougher ride but other than that what would make one better than the other. My shifter in my 5 spd 03 gs is very stiff, it glides through the gears and all but from the neutral position if you push to the right or left to put it into 1st or 5th there is a lot of tension. I was curious is there was anything I can do to ajust this.
