i am looking to get the greddy e-manage or emanage ultimate. the company hasn't tested it on the 3g so they do't have any harnesses. how does it hook up? do you have to splice wires like the safc?

Can you hoist the engine out of an '00 Eclipse...or does it have to be dropped through.

Any tips/pointers for me, I'm hoping to start swapping out my engine this weekend.

Hello - I am a new member and have a question about transmission flushes. I have a 2001 GT Eclipse w/sport-tronic trans. Can anyone tell me the proper procedure when flushing this auto trans? I recently purchased a set of APC Next Gen Euro tail lights for my 04 Eclipse. The box says for 00 and up, but after pulling off my stocket lights I discovered that the sock on the wiring harness doesn't fit.

Can't figure this one out - If I turn on the A/C while at idle, the engine cuts out immediately. I can refire the engine with no problem, though. It also cuts out when I let off the throttle and depress the clutch coming to a stop. Runs fine as long as I don't turn on any climate controls. Don't know how to find the codes. I was looking at my car today and I decided to tear the grey fiberglass off. Not sure what it is called..... Anyways after I tore it up I realized is this there to protect the paint job on the outside of the hood? Can someone tell me if I can leave it off or do I have to get a new one from the dealer?

I need some transmission fluid for my car, 2001 Eclipse GT V6, Automatic, but they told me that it needs special transmission fluid, the only place to get this fluid is at the dealer. Is this true? There has to be an alternative, right? Going 30+ miles just to buy some transmission fluid is hard to believe. Thanks for the help guys.

Question here, I have a 05 gs. It does not have fog lights, but today I changed my oill and saw that behind the covers there were wire plug ins. On the passenger side acually had a wire plugged into it. On the driver there was no wire but a plug for it. Does this mean that you can buy a fog kit for it like the spyders have. If so were?

i've been thinking about taking those pos "reflectors" off the front underneath the parking lights and wiring up double foglights to put in their place. yes, i know that no state allows more than one set of fog lights on any particular vehicle, i just think it would look **** to see a bank of lights running down both sides of the car at night.

is there no turbo kits for the new eclipse? I own an 04 GS spyder, very little hp, i need suggestions on how to hype this baby up a little bit. i have a short ram coming in the mail but thats about it right now. any suggestions? and dont suggest for me to get a bigger engine either. lol

Ok, I noticed a slight but noticable whistle between 55-75 mph, most noticably around 68mph. This only happens when I am on the gas though; if I let off it goes away. The car is an 04 Spyder GS (4cyl).

Hi, I am new here and have a few questions. We just recently purchased a 2000 Eclipse GS and everything was fine until about a week ago. 1) we had to put a new harmonic(sp) balancer on it and a new serpentine belt. 2) Now the belt sqeaks when we first crank it, and when the engine temp is cold, and also when the air comes on but then stops as the car heats up.....What could cause that? and 3)...

Alright, I've been tinkering with my OEM MAF on my 2.4L Eclipse. I'm not entirely sure...but I'm running terribly lean and my engine runs like **** right now. VERY rough and VERY bogged in the low end. I need to find a place to buy a stock tuned MAF unit new or refurbished or even good used. Not sure where to look. Ive spent many weeks working on a big brake setup on my 03 eclipse. Ive run into many issues and looks as if im going to use a 10 mm spacer to make it work but im going to need new studs that are 10mm longer then stock on the front. Does anyone know where i can get these?

i installed a new 255 fuel pump on my gs. it worked fine for a while. now the engine i bogging down if i give it more than 30% acceleration in second or higher gear. could the engine be too rich? or could the o2 sensor have gone out?

I have an 04 Spyder, gray with black top and it has this fancy, shiny black plastic around the A pillar, top of windshield and around the base of the ragtop. Any thoughts on care for this? Wax, armor all, ??
