i'm trying to find out where to get an upgraded fuel pump for my 01 eclipse. it will be used for a turbo application. or if possible, does anyone know what would be a compatible upgrade?

I had my front oxygen sensor replaced on my GS recently. I notice that it is getting very very hot under the hood. ( I havent checked the temperatures before replacing the oxygen sensor). It is specifically very hot around the coolant intake to the radiator and the exhaust manifold where the oxygen sensor sits. It is so hot just after driving 1 mile that I can not even touch the coolant intake to radiator. The rest of the engine compartment is also getting very hot that I can barely touch the coolant reserviour cap. I fear that the plastic is going to melt due to this heat. The temperature guage inside the car reads normal. I noticed that the radiator fan is not working when I open the hood after driving 5 miles. Is this normal behaviour or something went wrong when replacing the oxygen sensor? Please advice.

Substantial amount of water in the passenger side carpets.

A/C drain water is coming out of a hole in the underbody on the driver's side, about even with the front end of the catalytic converterand it is coming out of somewhere else in the same general area, but I can't see it. Crawling under car. May have to get it on a lift.

Is this the evaporator drain? Is there supposed to be a drain hose?

How'd the water end up on the passenger side floor?

Any info most gratefully accepted, as I really don't want to go through lifting the carpets again!

if i bolt up a turbo to a 3g eclipse, with no internal or cam work, will it run?

does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 3g safc? i wired mine with a diagram that i got from another forum. i still have three wires left and the display does not come on. the other lights do. help please

my 2000 eclipse gt has a problem. when i turn on the car and leave it on it starts making a loud rattling noise! so when i have the car in neutral and i step on the clutch all the way in the noise goes away, but when i let go of the clutch it starts making it again!!! any thoughts on what it can be guys?

i've tried looking for this answer and can't find it. what type of turbo is a mitsubishi TE04H? is it a T3 or T4? ineed to know this so i can buy the flange to hook up to my turbo header. any answer would be appreciated.

Hello, I posted a question like this a couple of weeks ago, and everyone reassured me, but I have been doing more reading and just want to make sure everything will be ok. I have a 5 spd 02 GS with 50k on it. The only mod I plan on doing right now is installing an intake. I know when I am done I need to reset the ecu, but after I do that I shouldnt have any problems right? such as Bad Idle or SES light coming on? Please let me know how your intakes turned out. Thanks

my friend is about to buy a CAI and wants me to help him install it since i installed mine on my 2nd generation. Are CAI just as easy to install on a 3g as they are on a 2g or is there something in the way to make it complicated anything i should know about before i start??? any insight would be helpful

I have a 2003 Ecplise with a 2.4L. I got some spark plugs for it, but for some reason, I cannot locate them on the engine. Does anyone have a diagram, or some good old-fashioned knowledge on this. I cannot find the plugs, wires, or coil. They may be staring me in the face disguised as something else.

We have a 2003 Spyder convertible that came with cloth seats. Recently we bought a set of used leather seats from an 01 Eclipse, not a spyder i am guessing.

Anyway the rear seats don't look right, I am thinking they are differnt and I am out of luck. So now I probably have a rear leather seat set I cannot use.

Also if the above is true, I probably need to remove the back seats to have leather seat covers installed.

Can anyone verify that the rear's are different, and if so any suggestions on how to get the rear's leather? I live around L.A.

I just got an 04 eclipse spyder GS and I want to hook it up, but it seems like the majority of the parts out there are only for 03's and down......are 03 parts interchangeable with the 04's???? they look pretty similar to me....

I have a 2001 Eclipse GS. I never had an problem with the car till now. I recently got the "Service Engine Soon" light on. I got it checked with a scanner at Jiffy Lube and got the code read as "0135". The delear here is very bad. What does this code mean? What needs to be done to correct this problem? And how much does it cost on the average to fix this problem?

Ok, i gots 2000 eclispe Gs..... but i have it SEMI-auto... ya know with da lil + and - thing. but i was wonderin how much would it cost to turn it into a manual transmission...... what would have to be done to it... im still kinda a newbie with all this stuff but if any 1 could give me pricing info... that be good.

Hey guys, I had some bad luck this week. Got my car towed, and they must have dragged it backwards onto the flatbed god only knows how they got it off, without ever being in neutral. Anyways its an eclipse gt auto. Now anytime the transmission shifts to a higher gear past 2k rpms, the whole car jerks and shudders. Almost feels like its missing or slipping. This only happens when it shifts, its fine when Im in 3rd or 4th and the rpms gradually rise above 2k. What could be wrong? Thanks

I am starting to do a few things to my 00' GS and in a few months I will be done hooking up the looks of the car. It has about 70k on the engine right now. By the time I start working on the performance I will want to replace the engine. In my opinion its pointless to work on an engine with over 100k on it if I can replace it. Does anyone know of any good engine/upgraded ones that I could add a turbo to or have a good amount of HP for my 4cyl.?

Hi. I just purchased the V2 intake and I have been doing some reading on them. I have noticed that some people complain about the SES light coming on, or the idle being rough. Does this happen to everyone w/ a CAI? If not, what do I need to make sure that I do? It's for a 02 GS. Thanks for any info.
