Ok so i have a 91 mitsi galant 1800 EFI DOCH 16V 4g67 engine, I am wanting to turbo it and to my knowledge it is basically the same as the 4g63. Meaning most of the parts should fit? Such as the new manifold.

I have lined up a manifold and td04 turbo from a Mitsubishi chariot 4g63. Should this fit?

I have a 88 Galant gls with 1.8 carb engine.Its idle is kind of shitty and when parklights are on only left side is working but when i switch to fulls all ligths are working.
Does anyone know if the lights circuit is some how connected to the carbs or smthn?because when we pulled out that light relay, the engine started to run nicer.

What trans will fit?

The car runs an astron 2l and 5speed now will this trans bolt up?

hey all new to the forums but glad to be here. anyway i rebuilt my km175 tranny in my 87 galant but my problem lies in the torque converter. i cant get it to seat properly it goes down the first spline but thats it any ideas on how to get it down further.(besides a sledgehammer)

Here I am again with another question on my 91 Galant. The exhaust is leaking at the flex pipe under the engine and I am wondering is there a better/cheaper way to fix this than buying the replacement pipe? I know when I had my 86 Toyota Camry I had to replace the same flex pipe just about every time I had the timing belt changed and I did that 4 times which got to be monotonous.

Hey, can anyone tell me what this warning light means. the car wont crank over and now when i turn the ignition to start this light comes on. its been coming on and stayin on for 10min or so over the last coupl of months and yesterday went to start her up and this light is staying on. i can hear my fuel pump priming up when i turn ignition on so i know the battery is ok. can anyone help cheers...

Idle Problem: accelerates every 1.5seconds to 1300-1700rpm when idling, just like one is constantly tapping the accelerator peddle. Dealer tells me I need a new ECU or ISM, but is there another possible...

so I just had the timing belt changed on my galant (sohc), and now Im noticing a definite increase in engine noise and LOTS of vibrating from the engine at and above 3000 rpms. no noticeable loss of power, but its still disturbing nonetheless. Is this a new timing belt thing, like will it get better as the engine runs? or is it something i should have them take another look at???

This is the 4 time my transmisson has been rebuilt. i have had it rebuilt by 3 different people and when i get a newer car i want to fix it up 2. i really need a new transmissions i would love padal shifters a.k.a.( tiptronic, sport tronic transmission) but i heard out of all the mitsu trany's the evo trany was the best.

What is the difference between limited slip and non limited slip axles? If there is a difference, are the parts interchangable?

What is the lug pattern for the 1991-92 Galant VR4 (stateside)? I wanna get a big brake kit for my galant but I dont want to do a 5 lug conversion. If the 6G VR4 has the same pattern I can just use a brake kit for that car...thanx

ive got a 90mod gsr galant and the timing has sliped destroying the engine so now im looking for another . i cant get a vr4 engine as engine mounts of the gearbox not the engine like mine on the ones aviable, but i can get evo 1 93 mod engine/loom/ ecu with the correct mounts would this ok and im told the have more h/p standard than a vr4 is this correct thanks chris.
