has anyone put on an aftermarket muffler with a large tip? i just got a HKS muffler in the mail and the tip measures 4 and 5/8"!!!! the shell will fit, i'm having custom piping made for the other end, i'm just concerned about speed bumps, steep driveways etc.

what would be a good first mod? intake exaust? and how much would it set me back?

Hi. I have recently picked up a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. Everything is stock and it has an automatic transmission. I'm wanting to make some modifications but I'm fairly new at this so I don't know that much about it. Looks like the ralliart to me, 250hp thats a lot better than the 152 we have, I guess I should of waited a little longer.

why the hell didnt they make the ralliart an awd? i mean it was bassicaly built for the canadian market cuz the evos front end crash tests where rated for 2.5 mph and canadian standards are 5 mpg. so if they made it for canada why not include AWD??? i mean come on land of the snow! oh and the stock eagle 205/50R15 all season tires do @#$% for winter driving

I bought an 04 ralliart about a month ago and I notice that the 2 front door panels make a creaking sound everytime i accerlerate or brake. It sound like the vinyl panels creaks. hello all, while doing my thrust bearings from the sump i noticed that the middle 2 conrods had play from side to side on the crankshaft but the 2 outer ones felt ok? why has this happend to the middle ones only? and can i change the shells from the sump or not ? what advice could peeps give me on this, im going to sell after this and get a evo from 5 upwards so not to get the dreeded crankwalk

Ok, so heres the deal, today I stopped by a dealership with an 05 Mitsubishi Ralliart with 19k miles on it. I can probably get them down to $14k for it. The Spec I may be buying is an 06 and has 13k miles and is loaded with everything but the brembo brake package, which I don't want anyway because it doesn't have ABS. I've got an 05 Lancer Ralliart and I've recently noticed that whenever I go over any kind of bump in the road, I hear a thud sound coming from the front left wheel. I've looked at the wheel and even removed it and put it back on. Its still making that sound. Before I take it in, has anyone else had this problem??
