Three radiators. big one = engine cooling. Smaller one in front = aircon condensor. Smallest one with own electric fan underneith these = ?
If this is an oil cooler, how do I test it?

First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is French. I am new to this forum but not to Mitsus. My daily driver is a 2003 Outlander. I recently accuired a 1989 Mitsu Montero and am having a problem with it starting.
I have changed battery, Alternator, neg. and Pos. bat cables.
When it does run the charge goes to 16-18 V and stays there while I am driving. It takes a minute...

I recently acquired a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero and I discovered that the digital thermometer display is only able to display the cabin temperature reading and not the outside one even after you have made the selection . Could this be an anomally?

Hi there,
My Pajero 2.8 TDI has three temperature senders where the top hose connects to the engine. Two of them are just normal spade connectors, one blue and the other is black. The other sender has a two pin connector.
Can anyone tell me what they are for please.
Cheers

Hi, bought a Japanese import in NZ recently. It is a 2000 NM 3.5L 4 stage INVECS 11. Very nice. It has some wood grain around the edges of the dashboard and in the middle, cloth, 7 seater and no sunroofs.
Question is: What is the black box under the front passenger seat? It is about the size of a 6 stacker CD but nothing pops out to load them. It only accepts one CD which will play...

So, I decided to take in my 1987 Montero 2.6 to get tested today so that I could get my plates. They do a safety and emissions test here, everything passed with flying colors EXCEPT I failed emissions due to high CO levels, thus, the car is running too rich. The max in Utah is 1.58 @ 15 MPH and 1.62 @ 25 MPH. I blew 3.71 @ 15 MPH and 3.72 @ 25 MPH. Both are almost double the maximum. The vehicle...

I had to buy an english manual for my Japanese GDI. I found that it did not cover the instructions for setting the time on the display. It was not covered in the MCS manual either which had te be bought separately for the type 3 system. Does anyone know how this is done? Another thing, does anyone know ehere I can get hold of a TV tuner for this system?

I am new here, but have just been looking at a Pajero that we intend to buy, subject to an inspection.

Hey Folks,
Recently had to remove the Windshield Washer Reservoir (WWR) when I was working on the vehicle the other day. To remove WWR, had to pull pump unit out (this seems to be a power cord with two brushes on it, and I guess the actual pump stays in the reservoir). Reassembled it, and now I don't have any pressure. It keeps popping the power lead out of the reservoir. If I push...

Neither my cigarette lighter nor my windshield washer work (wipers work fine though). I run the washer and I cannot even hear the washer motor going so I do not think it is clogged. I checked the fuses for both the washer and the cigarette lighter and both are fine. Someone mentioned that the relays may be bad but I have no idea what this is. Any help?
