The wife and I just got a new 07 Eclipse GT. Yeah we're 55 and 60 years old, but young at heart, etc. etc. etc.. I've had a lot of cars over the years and do as much wrenching on them as one can do. Of course, now days it's change the oil, brake pads, air filters, and such. While wiping down the very dusty engine compartment, haven't done that since I had the new 69 big block...

I bought an 07 Eclipse in early October with 5k miles, practically brand new ... no scratches or anything! It's black and I think it would look pretty good with some tinted windows.

Has anyone done this to their Eclipse? How much did it cost? I'd love to see photos of a black Eclipse in particular with tint.

Just got new spyder 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on and the tire pressure light came on now i went back to the dealer for the work they said the engine light was due to a vaccum leak due to the gas cap..........! but about 30 km down the road the dam light came back on now for the tire presure light here is the line they gave my GF that due to the cold tempratures the tires fluctuate...

I have an 07 eclipse GT with the factory Aero kit. I got some OEM mud flaps from my dealer, but they don't fit the aero body style. Do they make an OEM set for the GT with the aero kit??

Wow!!! The keys with the chip sure cost a lot. Does anyone know if there is a plain key blank that can be cut just to carry in the wifes purse, and/or a hideaway just to open the doors. My wife has managed, on other cars, to leave her keys on the console and lock the doors. I sure wouldn't want to have to get one with the chip in it.

I am getting ready to do 30000 mile service on my car and was wondering if anyone knows where i could find the transmission fluid for these cars anywhere but the dealer. If my memory serves me correctly it takes 75w 80 but all i can find is 75w 90.

My heater on my 2007 Eclipse won't shut off. Whenever I run the fresh air vents, I'm still getting heat. My dopey dealer mechanic can't figure it out. Anyone have any suggestions? I susopect there's an internal vent that is either open all the time or not closing when it's supposed to.

How does one remove the Rockford head unit from a 2007 Eclipse? I need to get at the DIN plug to add an Aux in.

I have a 2007 Eclipse and have been thinking about replacing the RF Stereo. I like the double DIN touch screen head units that are also bluetooth ready for cellphone use. But, like everyone else with the RF Stereo there are some problems.
Is there a by-pass cable or adaptor that will allow the RF Amplifier to be used? I really don't want to replace amp or speakers. With a new headunit...

I recently lowered my 2006 eclipse and need help. It looks amazing lowered, but i now need to do an alignment on it. Does anybody know what the specs would be to do an alignment on it when having the eibach sportsline lowering springs on?

Does anyone know how to fix scratches on 2006 Eclipse rims? The scratch is on the edge of the rim and looks kinda bad. I went up on the curb but no dent in the rim as far as I know. I think the rims are painted. If anyone can help or knows where else I can ask for info. please let me know. Thanks.

I recently bought 4G Eclipse projector headlights. I noticed that the projector headlight assembly has additional wiring (im guessing for the LEDs, which I assume will be added to my parking light wires), but I am unsure with the 3 prong gray connection that is a part of the wiring harness. The stock wiring harness for the 2006 Eclipse is different. I am hoping someone can shed some insight...

I keep seeing all of the threads in these forums saying and asking if we could add awd to the newer eclipse and the 3g and also I see a larger amount of people adding turbos to the eclipse. So maybe mitsubishi will get the hint to add them as an option to the new generation of eclipse. but who knows.
