The temp on my clock section is not showing. It really never has. Should I be concerned or do I need to turn it on some way to be able to see the temp, or is it not included on all 06 models? Some one please educate me about this!

I have a 2006 Eclipse GS. I may have a problem with my passenger air bag light. When no one is sitting in the passagener seat, should the words "passenger air bag off", the orange symbol showing person 2 with an X, or both light up? Thank you very much!

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had some advice as to how I might go about ensuring that I get a good price for the Eclipse, should I decide to take the plunge. I tried using Edmunds, but the best total cost price they reported didn't seem different from the MSRP. Should I be expecting to pay the sticker price?

Progress released there lowering springs for the 4G Eclipse earlier today!
BEST PART...It drops the car 1.8 in the front and 1.8 in the rear!

THe cover is $200 fromm the dealer for the 2006 Eclipse. Anyone have it? I dont want to pay that much it I can get a better product from an aftermarket company. What is the best kind of cover if you have no garage like me? I live in Washington DC so winter is coming.

Hello,
Does anyone know of a rack system that will work on the 2006 Eclipse? Specifically, I need something that can hold 1-2 bikes or 1-2 sets of skis.
I think a roof rack would look rather odd, so a hitch seems like the way to go. But, I'm concerned that a hitch might void the warranty.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them! ...

I have been trying to change the keyles remote settings by following the manual instructions for my new 2006 GT. As it is set now, I have to press the lock button on the remote to lock the doors and then press it again to toot the horn as verification. Anyone notice, when you let of the gas and start coasting, when the speed hits 35 mph, the car loses quite a bit of power. It's definitely not a smooth coast to a stop, and I don't remember the car doing that when I first started driving it.

I dont really want to go through my dealership because even though they got me a good deal on my car, it still took forever to get what i wanted. I would like to put a REAL cd player/dvd/nav in my eclipse. I am thinking of making some sort of custom 2-din remake of the stock panel.

I was at Walmart last night, saw this APC kit for a 95 Civic for $30. Turned it around, cut a hole for the MAS. Here it is :
This engine makes crazy intake noise when it free to breath like this, and the mivec kicks in. Engine just sounds like it is creaming!...

Hey guys,
When acceleration at a normal rate (not agressive) and I beleive it is normaly in like 1st or 2nd around 3000rpm, it feels like the power drops down a notch, you can acutally feel it sort of give out . Mine is a GT 6speed. The power is fine however when you are accelerating hard. Any one else notice this?

Want to get rid of the daytime running lights. Looked in the ETACS, no option in there. You could disconnect the ebrake switch and set it so looks like the ebrake is always on, but I am going to go through the wiring diagram this week to see if I can find another way. If anyone knows, please let me know

Why in the world would Mitsu only light up the driver window switch! Havent seen an omission like that in probably 20yrs. You can certainly get use to it but even the cheapest of the cheap cars light up the switches on the doors when the headlights are on.

i just did some prototype work with K&N engineering. They just finished my car and are looking for some more to test it on. One good thing is that the were able to get about 10hp (didn't give the exact numbers because of product security). they will not be using a short cai that converts into a complete kit this time around from what i hear. I've always heard that you should use the lowest octane you can get away with as long as there's no knocking coming from the engine. With that in mind I've burned a couple of tanks of regular in the Eclipse and got great mileage and the performance seemed the same as with premium. In fact, I've gotten better mileage with regular than with the hi priced juice.

I have 5 CD-ROM copies for 2006 Eclipse Shop Manuals from Mitsubishi. This what they give the mechanics at the dealer. It is just like looking through a book, and you can click on what section you want and so on.
