With all leaded or LRP fuel being phased out in Australia consumers of older cars are being forced to use unleaded petrol with a additive such as flashlube valve saver fluid (flashlube.com.au).

My question is that I am not sure whether I should be using regular unleaded or premium unleaded petrol with this additive?

It's a 7 seater, with normally opening doors, and looks like a longer RVR but without the sliding doors. It's not AWD, and it's a 2.4L SOHC 16 valve 4G64 with 5sp....

I've just had a new cam belt, water pump and other belts (alternator, power steering) fitted on 1995 Space Wagon 2.0 GLX. 10 days later the belts warble like a cricket at all sppeds all the time whilst acceleraring. I took it back to the garage that did the work, they took the belts off and turned alternator, power steering pump by hand and we started the engine without the belts and no noise....

my 98 space wagan is runs on a caburator system. when i start in the morning, and put the car in gear (automatic) it stuggles and the shuts off. please help me to fix this problem.

I have a NZ model of the Chariot built in 1992, it has a button marked "pole" on the dashboard and has clearly been added as an after-market fitting. To date I haven't the vaguest clue what it is supposed to do. Does anyone out there know? It may be all I need is a Kiwi to solve this one.

I have a 1992 model Chariot 2.0L MX - full time 4WD with airconditioning/climate control. The compressor has died but I cannot read the number on the identification plate as it is partly missing. The installed system was R12 not R143A and it would help if either I had the number of the compressor or details of any R12 compatible fitted to any other car/model.

Hi, I have bought a 2003 Grandis Japanese model. It has the MMCS system. The problem I have is I can't figure out how to set the current time and date. When the system turns on, it is still in 2000! I would assume any MMCS would be the similar, so if you were able to set your time on your Pajero or something, please let me know how.

need some advise re the cooling system on a 1994/95 space wagon 2.olt auto.
i am pretty sure that the radiator is becoming blocked as the top hose gets hot and the bottom only warm. however the car does not overheat!
also the water in the expansion tank is black. this water does not look oily though.

I have a 1999 Mitsubishi SPACEWAGON. (actually a CHARIOT as it is an import)

problem is:

when riding at over 60mph the ride gets very bumpy at the front (thru the front wheels), and there seems to be a loss of power. You can feel this through your feet on the floor but not thru the wheel.

Does the 98 look diff from the older version? The Japan printout for the title say "first regestered date" yet they sold it as a manufactured date 1998.
