Living in Japan and not speaking the language fluently has made it difficult for me to find a Mitsubishi dealer in this area with whom I can communicate, so I'm turning to you guys. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
My RVR has developed an intermittent valve tappet noise, like you might hear briefly when starting your car in the morning after the oil has drained to...

I have recently aquired a '97 Spacewagon, so far its great. One question I'd like to ask is if anyone can tell me how many interior lights are suppose to turn on when doors are opened. Only the roof light at the very rear turns on when I open my doors, the roof light at the front wont come on unless I press the "on" button.
I dont want to get into that habit though as...

Hello to all - this is my first post to this forum.
I recently purchased a 1995 RVR Super Sports Gear - ideal size for my needs plus performance to boot.
I've recently had the head completely reconditioned, new water pump, timing belts and cams replaced - it appears that at some point this car was "cooked" badly.
My mechanic says I also need new wheel...

I was hoping to find a solution to help him, but nothing seems to jump out.

I want to replace the wheels on my RVR with a set of 17". I bought a set off of a Lancer Evo, but the offsets were wrong and adjusting the tracking couldn't compensate? What offsets etc would I need for the RVR? I've worked out that either 235/45r17 or 225/50r17 tyres would be best, but I don't know how to size the wheels.

Now 100k. Transmission fluid is dirty and burnt smell.
Here is my question.
