Hello there everybody, I have a 96 RVR non-turbo model and am looking to convert to LPG, my mechanic needs an engine wiring diagram (pref in English) in order to install the electricals required. Can someone help - I'm sure someone must have done this as the RVR is not very economical and with the numerous New Zealand Petrol Tax increases and general price rises, now would be a good time to get this done - and do my bit for the environment too...

If anyone can help me with the diagrams, I'll happily post the progress, the fuel economy savings, and the number of my mechanic!

I have just reciently purchased 1993 RVR and am experiecing a loud wining coming from the cam belt when starting from cold which almost disapears afterabout 5 minutes running, The cam belt has been replaced about 10 thou ago .It has done just over 95000 k . I puchased the vehicle obout 4 weeks ago.
Also the valve lifters are sometimes noisy when worming up, and thay say that an addative to the oil may help .
Any help on these would be appreciated

I am thinking due to the knocking/pinking noise that I hear that the knock sensor is faulty, where is this knock sensor & is it easy to replace?

When I start my car the stationary is 1200 and after a while it drops to 1000 than to 300 and than it turns off. Has anyone some information what the problem could be.

I dropped in to see if your forum could help the rear intensity fog on my Space runner is not working and stopping me getting my 12 monthly M>O>T.
The switch witch I have removed works but has 0 volts I checked all the fuses I can find and they are all fine can you tell me where the switch gets its 12-volt feed from?

I need to remove the rear seats in my RVR. The seats are on rail and can easily shifted backwards and forward. How to remove them completely.

Does anyone have any information or any sites where I can find about Mitsu Expos or Eagle Summit's that have been fitted with a turbo talon/eclipse/laser 4g63t engine?
I know the JDM RSRs (at least some of them) have the 2.0L turbo (4g63 I presume) and I think it would be AWESOME to have a quick awd 5spd expo or eagle summit - think anyone would expect to get smoked by one of these???
Please any info or opionions are welcome!!

hi, i am a proud owner of a 1995 Misti RVR 2L Auto Turbo. However, i am in great need of finding a part number of the cv joint without having to take the bloody thing apart. Pretty sure thats what i need as thats what my mechanic keeps telling me. It makes a cracking/grinding sorta sound when i take off or when i am doing a sharp turn both in reverse and drive. If anyone knows it would be great!

Im running a 38m tial wastegate, in a 92 GSR. It's been in the shop for it's 4th time within a year. I continue to split gaskets on both sides of the gate!

Any solutions to eliminate this problem?

I bought a second hand 1993 RVR Sports Gear, Upon playing around with resetting the clock and having it loose the time when I turned the ignition off I found it had a blown fuse.

My interior lights, Clock and the ding dong to let me know the keys are still in the ignition all work now.

My problem is, Can someone please tell me how to set the compass. I thought I had it by holding the center button and the "S" down together for 5 or so seconds but it keeps going into a flash mode..

Any help would be appreciated.

the left front axle of my RVR 1.9 turbo diesel keeps on snapping its support; when this happens it is costly to rectify and there is danger that the axle seizes in the gearbox in that all the oil leaks out.
has anyone experienced this problem before ?

I need to change the timing belt on my wifes RVR, does anyone have any technical info to assist me please, also I'm having difficulty trying to find out what oils I should use in the transmission (manual) and front and rear diffs. Any info will be much appreciated.

The Windsheeld wipers no loger work, to cange te motore do i have to purcase it inside of the car or outside , i looked on the hood, there is not bossible to change it from there. is somone changed the motore before or can i faind somwhere repair pictures Please help

Just joined. Have bought 1998 RVR. Will probably need help in sorting out the MMCS. Maps are now available in NZ for GPS but I don't know if the can be used in the Mitsubishi system. Any help appreciated.

Has anyone any info on what type of fluid to fill transfer box with and also any info on sharp takeup of rear axle on takeoff ie:driving off from roudabout
