Any one know where I can get a Mikuni Carby for my 1985 L3300 star wagon. Or is there an alternative carby I could use.
Thanks to all who help

Hi,
if any of you have read my previous post then you know that I think my auto gearbox is faulty.
I would just like to know why Mitsubishi built the L300 so it would not engage fourth gear (overdrive) when cold. IMO it just damages the engine revving at high RPM's.
Is there any way to bypass this so overdrive will engage when the engine is cold?

Hi,
I was searching the site, but didn't find any information, so I thought I'd bring up the question here.
Has anyone done an HID install on the Deli's? If so, was there enough room for the ballast or did you add an extension?
Also, because I'm still waiting for my Deli's timing belt to be replaced, was wondering if anyone knew what the...

I have a 1991 L300 2lt manual van, which has lately decided to stall without warning. Sometimes I will feel it start to flounder, & if I ease of the throttle just a fraction, it starts to pull again. Other times it just stops & seems like it has a gut full of fuel. It has New coil, plugs, plug leads, air & fuel filter, vacuum hoses, Complete new carbi kit. The timing is spot on,...

Hi guys,
I'm not sure if the transmission on my van is on the way out but I think I have a problem.
I know when the engine is cold the overdrive function does not work, for the life of me I don't know why, but the engine revs at 4000 RPM at 60 KMH until it gets warm. Now to me that is damaging the engine.
The other symptom is that as it gets warm the...

Hey all,
My van is pretty damn uneconomical.. and I'm trying to figure out if its meant to be as bad as it is. I doubt it a bit.. It seems im averaging around 230-260kms a tank around the city. Seems waaaayy worse than it should be.
2L 1990 L400 4wd.
What do you guys get on a tank, both city and open road?
Cheers,

Hello everyone,
I'm interested in what Engines (example: 2.0L unleaded, 4G63) and what transmission options (example: Front wheel drive five speed automatic, F5A42) were available on the L300, L400, Delica, Exceed & Starwagon. I'm just doing some research and I'm hoping this helps me find some answers. Thanks for your time.

It just started doing this yesterday. I have no real idea whats going on other than I thikn it could be a ignitor or coil, as it seems to be an electrical problem.
When cold it runs fine. Once warmed up the idle jumps up to 2krpm, and when trying to cruise or accelerate it will go a bit past 2krpm then cut out and then the tach falls back to 2krpm, the power comes on again for a...
