Outlander is an all-new mid-size SUV built off a newly developed global platform. With the option of both five and seven seats, the Japanese domestic Outlander debuts a brand new powertrain and borrows heavily from technology nurtured in the Lancer Evolution series to deliver hard-hitting on-road performance that raises the bar for SUVs.

Hello... New to the forum, and I'm checking out the 2008 Outlander. The truck is an XLS 2WD, with nav, towing package, sun/sound, luxury...
I'm looking at a lease deal, as well. 12k miles, and under 48 months.
Over on another "townhall" car forum, folks are claiming $1500 below invoice. That would place it at $26 to 26,5k roughly. Is this...

I just bought a Mitsubishi Outlander 08 a couple days ago. When we were out the door it was closing time. a couple minute down the road we found out that the gas tank was almost empty. So we decided to go back there the next day to have them fill it up at the dealer. So I was at work that day, I accidently called another mitsu dealer in that area. (I didn't found this out until yesterday after...

Hello all,
I took an '08 Outlander XLS out for a test drive yesterday and was pretty much liking everything about the vehicle. I had two questions for the salesman about the MMCS navi system though that stumped him and I don't think he even knew what I was talking about, so I stumbled across this forum and was hoping someone here could answer a couple quick questions. If these...

Have an 08 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS with MMCS. I previously had an LG phone paired and it worked pretty decent. Just got my iPhone 3G on Fido, paired on the second try and it works great so far. Only question/issue is - why is the roaming(RM) icon on on the MMCS? I'm not outside of my coverage area. Maybe the MMCS doesn't recognize my signal? My old phone was on 3G as well. Anyone...

In late 2005 I started conducting my own reliability research. I'm reporting absolute stats like "times in the shop" that will make the differences between cars much clearer. Relative ratings obscure too much--how large is the difference between "better than average" and "worse than average"? I’ll also be updating results four times a year, so there will be...

does anybody know if there are window sills/a window trip kit available that include all side windows? I have seen a couple solutions online that I don't like.
Note: I attached an image to explain what I am looking for. The highlighted red area should be either stainless steel or chrome.

It came with the stock 6 speaker, single CD, MP3 compatible 114(?)watt system. I like the speakers and i don't want to install a super system but i find that the volume is a little low. (Speed Volume is not on).

I recently bought an 08 Outlander SE, after a few days driving it I noticed the headlights dimming and ac speed lowering. It only happens for a split second and goes back to normal. The dealer told us it is normal and there is nothing they can...

However, I noticed that when the sunroof is open in the 'vent' position it rattles while driving at lower speeds (30-40 mph).

Hi there,
I'll like to know how reliable is the meter on the 2008 Outlander when you set the screen to L/100Km. I've done 7.5 L/100Km on a 80Km/h road, which seems way under the maximum this car can do. In the city when the traffic is bad I've averaged 17L/100km. The car was suppose to be in between 8.5L/100Km and 10.4L/100Km. I want to know if this meter really messures the...
