Hi, just purchased an 07 Outlander with Navigation! I was assured I could plug in my Ipod into the jack on the bottom of the Nav when it is open. Well, it doesn't do anything. Anyone know what that jack is for?
I called the dealer and they didn't know. ...Isn't that funny!!
I thought I would ask fellow Outlander owners with Nav....
Any...

I am getting very poor FM reception from the radio. MP3, CD, and Aux (ipod) work fine.
Dealer says Mitsu is looking into it. It has been 3 months.

I have a 2007 Outlander GLS. Does anyone know where I can get a cargo mat other than the dealer? I haven't been able to find a place online to get accessories for my Outlander or my 2008 Lancer GTS. Can anyone help?

We've bought a 2007 Outlander ES. It was represented to us to have blue tooth function by which we could talk on our cell phone through the radio speakers.
We asked about it during our test drive and the salesman said he hadnt figured it out himself, but that this model had it. Now it appears that the ES is prewired for blue tooth, but it needs something added for it to be functional. ...

I have noticed the suspension "clunk" thing which annoys my wife. It's good to hear that they are taking care of it. Also, i would have like to know that the Bluetooth was not installed when i bought it. And what is with the IPOD aux connector behind the armrest, what if it need to charge to use a FM transmitter, wont it have to stretch from the back of the armrest to under the front...

I have an 07 XLS Outlander. Has anyone had problems with their interior lights not going off when you close the door? When mine are set to the "Door" setting they come on normally but don't go off. The dealership checked the wiring and the door sensors and said it was good to go. But, it is still having the problem.

If this has been answered, sorry! I did not find it with search.
Has anyone been able to fast-forward mp3 CDs with NAV buttons or steering wheel controls?
Mine attempts it but fails. Just want to know if this is possible.
thanks

EXCELLENT car/truck/whatever. Light years past the old one, which was a nice little truck itself.
the new engine is silky smooth, the 6 speed is supurb, the options are excellent.
the only thing I think is silly is the baby sized 3 row jump seat. Seems silly on a small SUV, but I guess its bragging rights for mitsu.

So far I love it. The problem that I have is that while listening to the radio, it fades in and out. When I listen to a CD, it sounds fine. Mentioned it to the salesperson upon delivery but he didn't sound to interested. Anyone heard of this?
Thanks

Hi all!
After reading so much about GPS-enabled phones, and handheld GPS systems that all require some kind of paid subscription for full (voice-guided) navigation, it got me wondering about the GPS/Navigation system in the Outlander...
Does this require any kind of monthly subscription to use all features (so including voice street-by-street navigation), or is all of...

Well, just got our new '07 Outlander XLS 3 days ago, and while overall we're pretty happy with the vehicle, it's now delevloped a noise in the front suspension. The noise is a heavy steel "clunk", which seems to alternate between the left and right front wheels depending on direction of travel. The noise happens when making slow turns with the wheel all the way to one side,...

lower center of gravity because of the aluminum roof

I'm surprised this forum isn't more active. The new Outlander looks like it could be an excellent vehicle.
I just input pricing into my price comparison database. Loaded up, the Outlander is about even with the new Honda CR-V after adjusting for the Mitsubishi's extra features, but $2,000 less than a RAV4 V6.
You can use my site to see how they compare with...
