Because existing sources of auto reliability information left much to be desired, in late 2005 I started conducting my own reliability research at . TrueDelta reports absolute stats like "trips to the shop" that make the differences between cars much clearer. Results are updated four times a year, so any significant changes in a model's reliability become apparent quickly.

Hi All -
Recently, my Outlander has started draining the condensation from the A/C into the passenger side foot area. I suspect the drain is plugged or kinked for whatever reason. But since it doesn't drain properly, I can't find it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also, if you've experienced this before, what did you do to fix it and how can I prevent it...

I'd like to know what size the LPG tank is and what sort of range it should have?

I did the brakes on my 04 Outlander today. It was fun and easy. There is a right and a left rotor. I also added a 1" wheel spacer to widen the track. Painted caliper bracket with alumniblast and the caliper with lastblast. Rotor was already powder coated silver.

I am looking for part simmilar to steering wheel hub adaptor.
I am quiet tall and I miss the 2-axis steering wheel adjustment. I am 190cm tall thus I have to move the seat to max rear position for comfortable pedals handling. But when my seat is in the rear position I have to put the seat backrest to almost vertical position to be able to hold the steering wheel. With hands staightened...

the tyres on my 2004 outlander are just about done, so i'll be needing 4 new tyres within the next month or so.
Stock tyre size (on stock alloys) are 215 /60 /16.
My question is that if I change to a bigger tyre eg 225 /60 /16 or 225 /65 /16 will this effect the accuracy of the speedometer (which is already in accurate - indicated 70mph is 63mph on GPS)

Hi all,
During my 72000km service the dealer noticed that my drivers side rear wheel has some play (you can wiggle it very slightly). His recommended fix was to replace both drivers and passengers side upper control arms in the rear suspension. His quote was $700. The warranty on that part expired at 60000km. This ticked me off a bit. I'm sure the problem was diagnosable...

I have a 2003 Outlander all wheel drive model.
Lately the rear suspension, rear wheels, are tilting in. Top towards vehicle.
Is there a fix for this? I did see a half moon adjuster on a sway bar. Does this adjust the wheels out ? Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi to all!
This is my 1’st post in Outlander / Airtrek topic.
My name's Robban and I live in Sweden.
I've just bought a Outlander Turbo 2005, I’ve had it for a week now.
I'm interested if anyone of you in here has heard about if some motor-tuning is to be available soon?
As I understand Mitsubishi has fitted a de-tuned version of the Lancer Evo...

7440 & 7443 plus flank LED's for side markers. These LEDS are actually very bright, I purposely underexposed this picture so you could see the actual LED. Also added a 7 ohm resistor in parralel with signal LED to keep blinker rate at proper frequency. Got them from ebay from warden_jp2002.

My fiancee is having a strange issue with her 03 Outlander and I thought i'd come to the experts for a little guidance so I hope you can help. The performance doesn't seem to be...

I have a 2003 ls outlander and it seems the panel lighting where the controls for the fan, ac/heat and venting are all out. Is there anyway to get back there and replace these bulbs/led ? I checked the fuses they all seem to be ok... In addition the ac/heat control knob sticks, I think it may somehow be related. The Mitsubishi dealership I went to wanted $893.00 to remove dashboard sections....

I'm considering buying a 2006 Outlander with AWD. I occasionally go off-road in the desert. Does anyone have an idea how well the 2006 Outlander's AWD is suited for loose desert sands? Does it have limited slip differentials, traction control, or some other kind of locking that would prevent it from getting stuck in the sand?

Anyone get the new recall notice?
Looks like they are having to replace the electric fan cooling module again. I got mine 3 days ago...good thing too because the cooling fans starting running constantly about a month ago.
I would start the car and the fans immediately would come on and stay on. Then run for about 30 seconds after you turned the engine off.

I am sorta new to these forums. Has anyone found or know of any upgrades for the stock stereo/cd player for the 2006 Outlander?
I can't seem to find anything online with the # that's on the front of the deck (u090).
