I've just got my AIRTREK 2.0 Turbo. However, while I was trying the top speed on a highway, the speed cuts at about 190-195KM/H (the speedo meter dial max at 180 km/h).
Is there anyone here tried to lift the speed cut / block before. I think I have read it somewhere where you could add some electronics to the ECU to lift it.
Please advise.

Does anyone knows, if there is any similarity with EVO-s rear diff? Probably not with new ones, but 5 or 6 perhaps?
Or maeby have some other information for the offers of rear LSD? Does the Airtrek turbo has one?

Hi all,
Althought my Airtrek is sold, but still want too share it with you guys.
poping noise was came off from the front springs,
put another layer of insulators to the front springs, the noise will be gone.
I've tried Tein coilovers on my Airtrek too, it was a little bumpier than
Kyb+stock springs, but no noise at all.
Cheers.

Hi all
I am seriously considering the purchase of a 2006 Australian model Outlander VR-X with the built in dash mounted CD/DVD/MP3/GPS/SAT NAV. Can anyone who has purchased this vehicle give me some feedback on the following, please?
How have you found the quality of the system to use?
(Having test driven the car I thought it was quite cumbersome and seemed overly...

Hello:
I have a newspaper route that I throw using my Outlander and there are many stops that I need to get out of my vehicle on my route. Is there any way to disable the constant beeping noise for the seat belt not being buckled. I have to take the seatbelt off at least 10 times each morning during my route in a residential subdivision.
Thanks

Does anyone have an AWD outlander with a manual trans? I'm not sure if that was an option, but would be interested to know. Is the transmission geared any better than the Auto for highway cruising? I don't like being at 2800rpm's at 70 mph, but I know the car doesn't supply enough power realistically to have an overdrive, so that's out. Any feedback?

Hi all,
I've have been having problem with my OEM CD player in my 03 Outlander. Specifically, any thing about mid-level volume I get this scratching sound that is driving all of us nuts.
Thinking it was a tweeter I spoke to this guy that replaces them and he pointed me out that the since that noise was coming from the all the speakers, it was probably the stereo.

Hello all. A fellow Outlander owner from another forum wanted to know if I could get a stiffer rear sway bar made from RRM. I posted and told him if I can get 5 or so people that are seriously interested in the purchase, I would approach RRM and ask them if they can do it and how much it will cost. Remember though, I have a US Outlander and am not aware of any differences in the Euro or...

They come with the 180kmh speed limiter...talk about castration...

I got inside the dash to check why my speakers were making a wierd sound as if one was going out. I grabbed a little battery and was intending to touch the speaker wires together to find the bad speaker, but I couldn't find a bad one. I figured that since I had most the speaker wires disconnected, I would try and install a radio I had in my Accord (Eclipse 2003 MP3). Well, I tried and it didnt...

I've only had my 2006 Outlander a short while and have only filled it up twice. I notice that I am getting lower then average figures for mpg. Only driven it in the city so far and am getting 16 mpg that's with a/c on low and very conservative driving (about 310km/190miles per tank). I notice the average for the AWD is about 20 mpg/city. The first tank was 95 octane, then tried 91...
