Hi there.
I'm a new member to this forum, and an Air Trek owner.
We are returning from from Japan. Intend to bring our 2001 Air Trek over with us. We bought it new, its 2L automatic, but no 4WD, and not Turnbo. Still, it goes like a charm and don't want to part with it. Will be settling in NSW. Have been told there could be problems with the local regulations.

Hi All,
I'd like to install fog lights on my Outlander LS.
I also would like to change the headlights to sodium instead of the standard halogen bulbs. I often drive out into the country and visibility becomes paramount.
I think the factory (& Mitsubishi) supplied foglights are Halogens, and that's not exactly what I have in mind - neither practically, nor...

Hi:
Does anyone know what's up with the rear wiper? It doesn't look like the blade is replaceable. It seems to be a permanent part of the car.
My rear wiper blade is worn, and I don't see any instructions in the manual for replacing it.
I've been to several auto stores, but their wiper books don't even LIST a rear wiper for the Outlander, just...

Hi,
My 05 xls outlander has a high pitched whistle noise when accelerating. It's worse at 80kph, but it's there all the time. When I take my foot off the accelerator the whistle stops. The service guy said the noise is normal in an awd, I'm not convinced....anyone help?
Also, the door or trim rattles on anything but the smoothest roads. The rattle is on the drivers side only...

I'd like to say hi to everyone, i am new to the forums and new to owning a mitsubishi. I recently traded in my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT for a 2003 Outlander XLS. I live in ohio and its just not practical to own a sports car with how bad the winters can be. And i'm very pleased with my purchase. However, i did test drive a 2005 outlander and its my goal to bump my 2003 to the same...

First off i'd like to say hello to everyone(my first post).
My '03 Outlander emits this popping sound 5 mins after starting the engine and 1 min or 2 from shutdown (after a drive). The sound is somewhat metallic (i think) and seems to be coming from the lower rear portion of the vehicle.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem or might know what the cause is?

I have a 2004 Outlander with 12K miles that has developed a serious sounding loud popping sound in the drivers side front suspension when hitting a bump, stopping, or light turning/swerving manuevers. It is going to be at least a week before I can get it to the dealer. Has anyone had similiar problems?
Thanks

Hello I just bought a 2003 outlander and I'd like to get a remote starter before the cold wisconsin winter begins. I'm wondering who makes a good remote starter thats fairly easy to install? I used to install stereos so I'm pretty good around wiring but I've never done a remote starter.

In Canada, the Outlander comes stock with a black background for the dash and the clock, however, I wish to have the white ones from the states, but in km/h... Any ideas?

Hi guys
First of all I would like to say that I am a proud new owner of an outlander turbo for
almost a week now. It just the ultimate adult toy i think!!!
All I'm looking for is for analytical engine specs and especially graphs of torque or Kw over rpms. Has anyone come across such info?
Thanks

I have a 2003 Outlander with 50,000 miles on it. Recently, the air conditioner will blow warm air while idling (like at a red light). As soon as you give it gas and get the RPM's above 1500, it starts blowing cold again.
Also, wasn't there a recall - something about the fan switch. I could have sworn I got a notice about a year ago but we moved and I forgot about it.

We just bought a 2004 Outlander LSX AWD leftover from the dealer and was wondering where to get the best deal on roof rack cross bars that fit the factory roof rack. Also looking for any "made for Outlander" accessories like seat covers.

Found this snippet on testing procedures involved in getting your estimated mileage. It's no surprise they differ considerably, as no one on earth drives a vehicle like they test them. At best you can glean relative differences between vehicles. I don't know what the process is south of 49, but I hope it is more realistic.

Hello all,
I found a problem today with my 2003 Outlander XLS, neither the engine fan nor the A/C fan are working in the engine compartment. I checked the fuse it is fine. Has anyone else had this problem on the Outlander and if so what was the problem or what should I check?
Thanks
