alright guys. ilike many of you with the nav package have noticed, once the car starts moving it is impossible to watch a movie. u can only hear the sound. we all know tha is for safety reasons, however there is people who put lcd's all over the car. my question is this.. ever since i got the car I notced an input jack on the botton of the screen, that u can only see when the screen folds down...

Im having problems with my cars sounds, I dont know if its normal, but when I put it to max volume which is 45, my car is not that loud.. Is there something I need to change on the settings?

My most recent 2 cars before the Lancer had a nice feature. When you pulled off (reached 5 or 10km/h) after getting in and starting your car, the central locking used to auto lock all round. I'm certainly missing this feature in the Lancer as I certainly am not used to manually locking doors any more.

I have a 2008 GTS with nav. How do I hook up an ipod? I bought a cable to connect the ipod to the audio rca inputs (red and white), but nothing. Do I need one with all three (red, white, and yellow)? Also, do I have to put it on AUX? When I press it there's only a black screen.

I just bought a new 2008 Lancer GTS and have a question about the steering wheel mounted audio controls. Is there any way to make them cycle through the FM presets rather than just seeking up / down? It works this way on my Mazda3 but was really disappointed that it doesn't do this on the Lancer.

I got a lancer es (2008) and on the paper that has the car's details it says i have a 6 speaker upgrade and until i tried to update my speakers i only have 4 door ones and well the two tweeters (are those the other 2 speakers?).

my Stock Radio cuts in and out of stereo to mono then when im at a stop or as such.. it comes back to stereo..btu when im on the move again it fades to mono.. any ideas?

After reading the unlocking procedures and stuff and seen it in action comes two new questions.

Is it possible to upgrade the HDD?
If so, is it as simple as naming partitions, xferring files to new HDD, and etc?

If we were to make partitions in the new HDD and name them to the same as the 30GB one, then we can just simply move system files over to the new HDD.

The Canadian Lancers don't come equipped with Sirius even with the S&S package (we also don't have the NAVI package).
As far as I looked into it you don't need to install no universal unit or anything like that to get Sirius working. All you need is a receiver and a subscription...

Hey everyone, I just installed a new system into my car, I'm running two 10" Pioneer Premiere subs (1000 watts peak per sub) with a 1000 Watt Sony Amp and I have a 5 Farrad Power Acoustic Capacitor.
