I found a guy selling a set of virtually new 17' Konig Reasons for $400.
Here are some sample photos. What do you guys think? Hehe... you can see how much I value the board's opinion!

So I would like to know your opinions on what are the best wheels and tires on the market. Im looking to buy new tires and rims very soon, and I want to make sure that I get the best.
I live in Cali right now, so I'm looking for summer tires.
I was looking at either
Toyo Proxes T1R or
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2If I move to Oregon, where there will be snow, I was thinking about these all season tires
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S or
Toyo Proxes 4I'm looking at a couple different rims... what do you think?
Enkei FD-05or
Tenzo R GF-7Oh and I definitely wouldn't mind
AME Tracer TM-02Would love to hear some feedback!

I was looking around online trying to find out what's the biggest tire i could fit on an 18" wheel. I found a tire calculator, and since I'm upgrading from a 16" stock wheel, it says my speedos gonna ready fast, it'll read 60 when im actually doing 55?!? Anyone had any experience with this, or is it just bs?

For all the lancer drivers out there specially the one in located in SoCal.
Not sure if its just me of do you guys ever notice that the car wont drive straight whenever you let go of the wheels. Cant say that this is normal as we have 2 Corolla's and a 97 Eclipse in the garage as well that is not doing that.
Ever since I had the tires rotated my lancer has been all over the road and does not want to go straight for a long while (it actually goes left most of the time). Is it me or are roads here in SoCal really that bad? I actually like to give Puente Hills Mitsu a piece of my mind when I had them to test it. Telling me that I am just imagining it or its tire pull cause by the road.
I am still having discussion with Corporate regarding this issue. Its a totally different story dealing with them and they can be such a pain. Both dealer and corporate does not want to acknowledge the problem with the car. I am going to Whittier tomorrow to get another opinion. Wish me luck

Hey i was wondering where people are getting the front strut-brace i think they are also known as Sway bars. i love their look.
Strut brace/Sway barit is the bar that goes from the top of the suspension over the engine.

Does anyone know if I have to replace the entire coilover once the shocks go bad? I definitely won't be buying these if I have to spend another $800 at 50,000 miles.

Hi ,
I want to buy a low spring for my 09 lancer gts,
I have no idea which brand is better? and I don't feel too shake.
how high enough not to kill my stock shocks,
I see the Eibach lower spring, any one use that spring?
Front: 1.7" Rear: 1.2" is enough? I have no idea how tall is it....

I just want to use the spring, did i need to change the shocks?
I am worry the spring will hurt the stock shocks, where i can buy the low spring and shocks.

Hi, reason i'm asking i found my old never been used or installed lowering suspension from my 1987 Toyota Celica gts made by Suspension technique 1.5 front and back. I wanted to find out the diameter on the lancer 2009 GTS springs, maybe just maybe if they are the same i can take my car and this springs to a garage and have them modify it and install it on my lancer. Any thoughts? Input?

Hello All,
About 4 months ago I had nitrogen put into my tires. My understanding is that it holds pressure more consistently. So anyways my TPMS was constantly going off in the winter and ever since that day the nitrogen went in... No problems. I'd recommend it to anyone, let me know if you've had the same experience

Hey there guys,
Haven't posted really here but I wanted to tell you guys that after about 26.5k on my GTS's Dunlops I got some Goodyear eagle F1's. Some irregular tire wear was happening because after a year in Chicago with horrible pot holes the alignment must have gotten off somewhere. So I put in an order for the slightly wider eagle F1's (225/45/R18's instead of 215's) and i just got home with them today. I'll let everyone know how they go as I drive with them, they are supposed to be the best dry / wet performance tire that goes well in the snow too.

hi every one i am from Barbados. i have 2008 lancer. i have had it 8 months now with
12587km on it. i have noticed that there is a noise coming from the rear left suspension
when ever i am driving on bumpy roads....i just took it back to the dealership for servicing and told them about the noise. they took it out for a road test to confirm. what they did was tighten the suspension and greased it. it has only been 2 days since then and i have not heard the noise but my question is Should i be hearing such a noise for a brand new car with such little mileage? and would greasing and tightening the suspension solve the problem permanently or is that just a temporally fix?
my next question is has anyone else had this problem on this model.

Hi all,
I like the gts rims but love the mr's.
I never got ahold of the sales guy before the closed here to ask if they can be traded out. i remember he mentioned they are about 4k for the mr rims alone, but i mean to get them instead of the gts rims. shouldnt be 4k. since the rims on the gts they told me are about 800 per. so rough calc, 5-600 in the cost diff.
think they would do it or rape me and say it can't be done unless its 3k or something silly.
i think they would look sweet.
thanks.

I have the stock tires and rims on from the lancer gts. I was just curious as to what would be the best replacement tire. they have 215s on it atm with 18 inch rims
If you could give me the best tire for price
Also just the best tire
I do regular street driving... an occasional drift (once a week or so) and a couple tire spins (maybe twice a week)
THANKS!!!

As some of you might know, I'm looking into purchasing aftermarket wheels.
After doing some research and reading various posts, I concluded the following aftermarket wheel size would be a perfect fitment for 08+ Lancer GTS
Diameter: 18
Width: 7.5
Offset: +45
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
When I say perfect fitment, I meant our 18' 215/45/18 would fit into the wheel, and there should be no rubbing between the wheel and the car.
Am I correct? Is there any other factor that I should also look into?

Hey all,
I'm quite excited as I just picked up my GTS rims from the Mitsu dealer.
[attachmentid=7871]
I dropped them off at my local tyre shop to get some rubber wrapped onto them and I'll be shooting back there in half an hour to have them fitted to the car.
That's what my ES looks like with the body kit (lip spoiler) and the stock 16 rims...looks odd hey?
[attachmentid=7872]
[attachmentid=7873]
I know many of you GTS owners out there think there's nothing special about your standard rims, but they don't sell the GTS model car over here so the ES model is the top of the range with the standard 16" rims, so now I've got the only Lancer in the country with imported GTS Mitsu rims and I think they're hot!!!!

Just curious....my dealership had a set of polished Eclipse rims sitting on the shelf & they looked pretty good. I asked if they would fit or not since they are 8" wide....they didn't know for sure.
Would be nice to have something different on mine....
Anyone know if they would fit or not?
What about if I eventually have the car lowered? Would there be rubbing issues?

I have 77 000 miles on my original 18" Dunlop tires ( 08 Lancer GTS ) It's time to get new ones and my question is : can i use 225/40/18 ? original size is 215/45/18. I know all about tire size calculator and all that, i'm just wondering if there will be no problem with tire preasure sensors and fitment on rim. Will be 225/40/18 much lower than originals ? If any of you wondering why i want to change sizes, 225/40/18 are about half prize of 215/45/18 and much more to choose from. Thanks.
