My dealer says it should be changed every 3000 miles, but my last new car was every 5000 miles. Will driving with everything (windows & sunroof) down cause poor gas mileage rather than having to drive with the AC on?

I have seen the Mythbuster episode where they have proven this myth. With everything down they said it causes it to waste more gas rather than just driving with the AC on.

I also heard that this only works with the newer model cars, 2008+

this lancer 08 have incredilbly loud engine noise compare to toyota corolla, nissan sunny and honda civic.

not sure why this is happening. Is it because of the engine design as this is a MIVEC.

Also the gas pedal seems soft and you need to step the pedal all the way down for the engine to accelerate and also make a loud noise. Making the rpm meter to go all the way up.

i live close to edmonton alberta canada and was wondering if any of you guys live around edmonton and know of a place where you can get some performance parts well installed.

When i turn the key not all the way, but to where all the accessories are on the car makes a weird clicking noise. Its alike four fast clicks and then a few clicks evenly spaced out. Does anyone know a way, or if it is possible to lock the vehicle when you move the shifter out of park. I was reading in the manual that you can have the car unlock itself when shifting into park. Another question does anyone know also how to program the car to unlock when shifting into park. The manual says take it to the dealership.

My 2007 Civic SI that I just traded in recommended 91+. That's why I always got 93.

I install a HID kit to my lancer 09 and when I put down the hand brake the lights began to blinks. I need to know how I can turn off the dim ligths or day lights. Right now I have the lights all the day because of this blinks that the HID kit does when the hand brake goes down.
