Hi Guys

My car lancer GLXi-saloon is quite low that i have already punctured the Oil samp, due some of our rough roads, the car has 14inch rim and 185/70 14 tyres, i have put 1inch alluminiam spacers, but still is still low.
The question is What can i do to raise it professional and not loose the stabillity and the shape.

Hi all

Just took delivery of a new black 2004 Lancer VRX today. Went for the first drive in it at night and I love the red on the taco/speedo etc. The only letdown is the green/white in the center console (i.e. A/C/climate control etc). Does anyone know if it would be possible to change the color of these lights? i.e. put red LED's in instead of clear ones or whatever? Or is it in fact colored transparent plastic that gives the dash it's color?

Does anyone know of anyone else who's done this? If so, any web links?

Other than that, I love my new car

Hi All. I'm currently driving a 98 1600 Mivec Lancer but am hoping to upgrade to the 1.8 GSR (year 1997-2000)very soon. What i need thought, is information. I'm in Ireland and GSR's are only imported so they are rare enough. But worse still i can't seem to get much info from the web either. To anybody who has any relevant info on the GSR 1.8 i'd appreciate it. Tech Spec's. Engine info. Performance characteristics. Dodgy parts to look out for, manuals, even some picture's of clean one's would be nice. Anything, including opinions and things to look out for with this car would be great. I really want to know as much about this car before i buy cause not many people in Ireland know alot about them.

Just having trouble finding a LSD for my Ex Lancer Turbo...

Visited a Wreaker in hamilton ...took away 3 different sizes of L200 diff heads to see which one fitted ...i can't tell you the sizes but the middle size fitted out of the three ...but trying to find a LSD is another story altogether ! ...has anyone done this ..knows what sizes there are ? and what diff head i need ? where to find lsd's ?

Ok maybe someone form the uk or europe area can answer as you know the us lancer oz rally motor really sucks for hp.so my question is their any parts we can bolt on from previous models for the 4g94 motor i have heard rumors of the evo 6 stuff bolt on but i am not sure cause the lancer oz is 2 wheel drive as opposed to 4 wheel drive on help would be great.I do know rpw sells parts for us but i was hoping to change headers with a evo 3-6

First post. I recently purchased a 98 Lancer GLi CE Coupe and I am just wondering what sort of stuff I can do to it. All the body kits/mods I see online are made for Evo X models, will they still work on mine :/? If not, does anyone know any kits that will work on mine?

Also I have been looking at an AEM Cold air intake system but when i search their site for products for Lancers I only get stuff for > 2000 models.

what is the biggest tire and wheel size that i can add without any problems or extra work?

I'm new, and i'm also new to car modifications. I have a 2002 Lancer ES and it want to have a factory look-a-like spoiler mounted on the back. A friend of mine told me that fiber glass is crap, and another friend tells me that it doesn't matter, so which is it? (One drives and Impreza and the other an Escort zx2) So my question is, which one is it? Is fiber glass good or bad? My other option is to get this wing thats supposedly made of a plastic thats stronger than fiber glass, so, I need help, fast!

Hi i am new to da site and I need some help from some mitsubishi fans.

I jus got my liscence and got lumped with a stock standard 94 lancer CC sedan with 130 000K on it. Its got a 1.5L carby engine and in perfect condition but I hate the burgundy colour and grey plastic bumpers. I have a bit of cash to splash but not enough to buy a new car.
I want to know if it is worth modding the lancer with an evo 3 bodykit, some rims, neons and maybe a later engine transplant or is it better to keep it standard for 2-3 yrs to then buy an FTO !
I cant make up my mind!!!!

I need to know if it is possible to install a 1.8cc engine into a car which has a 1.6cc and if not why? I also was wondering if there is a history of lancer engines seizing due to lack of oil (not due to leaking or neglect)??.

My car is stock & under load. It really lags. i have a boost controller running 10 psi but it only gets up to say 70k/ph before it starts lagging and my exhaust starts to glow red. So far i have changed the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump pressure, changed the spark plugs, checked the cataletic converter to see if it was blocked, the injectors are flowing fine. Its still lagging. Does anyone know what the problem is? and how to fix it?

IM JUS TRYING TO FIND OUT THE CHEAPEST WAY TO MODIFY MY MITSY

i currently own a lancer gsr which lags on boost at about 70km/h. the exhaust manifold glows red which i believed was caused by leaning out. the fuel system has since been checked. fuel filter changed and so forth... no problems.. the computer is fine to checked the exhaust and no blockages. all piping and hoses have been checked there is no freeplay on the turbine shaft, spins freely, all vacuum lines are correct. the air flow sensor was also checked with no faults if anyone has any suggestions on what may be causing this problem your help will be very much appreciated, any ideas please reply. thanks.

I am having a hell of a time trying to find a suspension kit for my 02 Lancer ES. All I find is crap for the EVOs please help me.

i have a 2003 lancer oz rally edition. it failed smog due to the o2 heater sensor. i need help finding one and also my heater doesnt work. is it because of the sensor

I just bought a 2002 Lancer ES, and I've been surfin' the net tryin' to find things for it and all I can find is pretty basic. Nothing really to better the performance. Exhaust and intake is all. Am I not looking in the right place? Or am I stuck with a car I can't do much with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im thinking its a bearing but im not sure? it seems 2 be getting pretty hot under the hood 2? any help wud be appreaciated!!

So am asking if anyone knows if the liquid to air intercoolers are as top noch as people say they are and how good is the performance from them

Hi i am 15 years old and have always been a lancer fan, in a few months i will be getting my P plates and will be purchasing a late model lancer. I am most intrested in buying a 1996 model lancer preferably the 1.3 litre model and i will have no problem finding one but the hard part is going to be convincing my folks to let me buy one. This is the reason for my post i can not find any road reports or safetey reveiws on this year model if any one has some information or refrences to websites that would have this information would be excellent.
