Was just wondering if any of you's have advice or had the same problem as i have, i currently have a cc coupe with the 4g15 carby engine, when i go to shut it down the car just shutters, while the engine shuts off, it can sometimes go for up to 5 seconds after the ignition is switched off.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi gang, The boss's CE 1998 GLXi Wagon has developed a problem with the power steering and she is not happy.

The 4G93 engine runs very roughly when turning the steering slowly with the engine just above idle. The problem is worst when the engine is cold.

I guess the problem is either the pump or the pressure switch on the pump is faulty and not sending an input to the ECU...

I just bought a 2002 Lancer Cedia, it came with the ngk BKR5EKUD SPARK PLUGS, the problem is that i cant find the same spark plugs, can someone tell me what oteher spark plugs can use this car, form the same brand, or from another brand.

I'm looking at purchasing a 2002 Lancer ES with 120k miles on it. How often does the timing belt need to be replaced? I've gotten too many mixed answers online, ranging from every 60k to every 105k miles. With this car being at 120k miles, what else might be involved in a tune-up? All I know about it so far is that oxygen sensors and catalytic converter have been replaced, at 100k.

I don't have an air compressor and no space to keep it if I bought one. On the other hand, I can grab an electric one (impact wrench) for around $40 and it would be pretty handy.

Would the max 240 ft lbs of torque an an electric impact wrench be sufficient to remove the crank pulley in a timing belt replacement job? I suppose if someone has the tightening torque spec, that...

Question, Have an 02 OZ Rally that has the 0421 error with a check engine light. Replaced the O2 sensor, no change. Currently have 95,000 miles. The dealer states the CAT was only covered to 80,000 miles, and we're out of luck. I have heard the CAT was covered under warranty till 100,000.
Who can I contact about this?? Can I force the dealer to honor the CAT replacement with over 90K...

Is there a filter inside the tranny? will i have to remove the tranny pan or is it only a screw on external filter.

my car is showing Service engine soon contineously and scanned code tells me its P0135.I had posted this problem sometime back and as suggested I got the External O2 sensor (visible when you pop up the hood) changed and reset all the codes.
However I still have the same problem.

Hi i have 1999 MR lancer with central locking . It does not have remote for central locking so i bought one off ebay but no programming instructions were with it. can anyone help thanks...

On my rear, left wheel, I notice when i make a left turn, i hear a rubbing noise, like a wire brush rubbing on something. I have a mild case of break drag. Now both the rear breaks are drums. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? could it be the e-brake? is there anything i can or have to adjust on the drum if i take that wheel off? or do i need a new shoe?

i recently got hids on ma 03 oz and i was wondering if there were factory fog lights. cause i wanted to match them up with ma hids

Hi, newbie to the Lancer. Installing a clutch from perfection clutch in a 2002 Lancer and took the flywheel to my machine shop and they can't get the dowel pins off to resurface it. Does anyone know if you have to remove the backing plate (with those 10pt bolts in it) to get them out? Or, should I just get an aftermarket flywheel? I'm at a loss, and my machine shop is too. Thanks....

I have had my '03 Lancer es for around a year and I was wanting to put some lowering springs on and I was wanting to know the factory spring rates.

What is the best aftermarket spring to use?
I am only wanting an inch or so.

I am trying to figure out how to access my fuse box in my 2003 Lancer ES. From looking at the manual, it looks like it might be behind the glove compartment, but I can't figure out how to get in there, and I need to check and see if some fuses have blown. Forgive me if this is a stupid question.

My 2002 lancer is using the left front tire in the outside (dangerously). I brought the car in to do the alignment. They told me they did the alignment as much as they could but they also told me that they can't fix the problem all the way without installing a caster camber kit. So before I pay them 200$ to do so I would like to know is they are BSing me or if the lancer...
