Hey Mitsubishi Forum,
I might have an easy question but could not find it using the search:
-First, I had not much pressure in my radiator hoses, the upper was hot, the lower cold
-Then, I changed my Thermostat and the radiator cap
- Now, I have both hoses with nice pressure, the upper is hot, the lower is still cold, gets maybe 90 or 95F
Question: Is it normal, that the lower radiator hose is that cold or shouldn't the temperature be only slightly colder than the upper hose? What can I do?
-The gauge in the cockpit is in the middle after 5 minutes. - The heater blows hot air nicely - I used pre-diluted coolant/water, so I assume I have a good mixture..
Changing the thermostat I tried to flush and clean out the top of the engine and the heater core, using a garden hose. I don't know if a small part of the radiator cap might have fallen into the radiator and would be obstructing the flow...?
Any ideas are very much appreciated
