Just got done installing my bypass. Got it hooked up in like 10 minutes it was super easy and now i don't look like some ignorant driving around with HID's in broad daylight!!!
Also, with the switch in position 2, the headlights are still off but the parking lights come on as they should. Perfect for waiting on people as described earlier.

Thanks!

Sorry if this question has been asked/answered before, but does this harness work with the OEM stock halogen lights, or only with the OEM HID lights that come with the touring package? In the video, the second car appears to have yellow halogens in it.

Thanks.

After providing the DRL Bypass for over a year now, I've decided to offer it at a lower cost.

I've also changed my Return/Exchange Policy:

*Return/Exchange:
Void after 30 days from date of delivery.
Void if the DRL bypass is tampered in anyway. I will know, I made it.
Valid only for defected/faulty products.
If it's been over 30 days since date of delivery, I can offer a repair service. Contact me for more info.

You can now purchase my DRL Bypass through E bay. I recently found out someone also began to provide the DRL Bypass on E bay. If you check out his ad, you'll see that he made no effort to describe his own and virtually copied my description of this product. Please show your support by purchasing my DRL Bypass as I've been serving the Lancer community for over a year.

Thank you for all your past/present/future support! It's been a pleasure to serve you all.

All transactions will now take place via E bay:

Sorry for the late response. Next time PM for the quickest reply. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To answer your question, yes you are correct. All that is required is an Aftermarket 9006 HID Plug & Play Kit + DRL Bypass.

Please refer to my Installation Instructions:

http://projectlancer.net/index.php?app=downloads

Instead of plugging the Male 9006 (Passenger) & Male 9006 (Driver) into the Ballast female, you plug them right into the STOCK Bulb itself. The STOCK Bulb is a female plug. Very simple. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

If you have HID lights you do NOT need this wiring harness. All you have to do is open the fuse access panel under the hood and remove the DRL relay. The lights will work just like the instructions for the switch operation described for the wiring harness.

Oh, nice. Thanks for the input.

As for the 08+ Lancers, removing the DRL fuse will NOT eliminate the DRL's. It's the first thing I tried, and many others have done the same. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)
