previously ive owned v8 fords, then i had a few mercs, enjoyed the german engineering so i tried a few bmws (great fun little cars!) the last four cars ive owned have been mitsubishi's and none of them have been a pleasure to own, but i love my l300 4x4 so ill keep battling on, anyway gettin to the point of the four mitsi's ive had 3 have had starter motor problems even when a brand new fully charged battery is used they seem to always crank really slowly this is begining to really shit me cos it also drains the batteries really fast, also my van has had the 4g62 replaced with a 4g63 before i got it, does anyone know if the starters are the same? and do any of the other starters fit like off the astron 2.6? is theyre any better starter i could use? cheers again in advance Jaede

Have an L300 van and the starter occasionall runs on when the key is turned to the Off position. it sometime just keeps turning over? Strange and intermmittent. Can go ok for a few weeks and then do it. Wisbone
