Error Playing Cd's - Lancer Sportback09 Options

hi there,

got a little problem when inserting a disc.
error01 is shown on display ...
when disc is aleady in slot and i change to cd, error03 is shown.

anyone got a clue how to fix this??

Store bought cd's? Or are they cd's you burned yourself?

I had that error before on some cd's I created that were working fine, then all of a sudden they stopped working. Somehow the data on the disc got corrupted.

If they are cd's you burned yourself, just make another cd and you should be good. If it's a store bought cd, first try it in another player and see if it works. Also you could try ripping the cd onto your computer, then burn a cd and see if that works. This way you can figure out if it's the cd that's gone bad or something wrong with your stereo.

thanks for your suggestions.
i've already tried burned cd's (mp3, normal), bought cd's (working in pc-cd-player), cleaning cd - nothing works.
i'm beginning to think that i'll have to have it replaced by a new one ....

09 is under warranty..if it keeps getting error no matter what kind of cd...probably need a new head unit

You're welcome. Ya sounds like something is wrong with your head unit. Like srsone said it will be under warranty. Let the dealer check it out.

its not broken, its just been programmed to reject crappy music! LOL!!
