Alright so we have the 08 GT coupe and I've been trying to maintain it for my sister to save money but I just can't read the coolant reservoir. It's so cramped in there that I can't look at the side of it. It reminds me of washer fluid resevoirs(can't tell if there is anything there until the light comes on). But since coolant is much more serious, I really need to know if I'm running low on it. I currently did a coolant flush on my dad's SUV so it's not like I don't know what I'm looking at, it's just that the Mitsubishi is poorly designed.

Do you have any tips? Do you open it and shine a flashlight or something like that? I tried looking for the full mark for a few minutes...just can't find it at all.

Thanks in advance.

p.s.: That's the only reason I joined (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

i just shine a light down in it ...and it doesnt need to be all the way full either ...
it needs space for the coolant to flow back and forth
u only need to drain and refill the coolant every 30k anyway

I know this thread is a couple months old but if you pull off the cap there should be a "stick" on the bottom with holes in it. That is how you check the level.
