The elctric ariel on my 2.8 pajero is making a horrid noise and not going up or down.So I presume its had it.How do I get at it to either remove it or replace it ?

so the motor still works? but it just doesnt go up or down?

the mast may be broken...usually you unscrew the nut on the top of the tube where it comes out of the body and pull out the mast when someone turns on the radio

but if the "wire" is broken off down inside the motor..then you will have to take out the motor and remove the cover plate and get the broken pieces out of the motor and then replace the mast...

if the they use the same system as ones here in the usa
