My belts keep falling off everytime I go thru a puddle of a decent size.... That's the only time... I've put them back on 3 times now in about a month and a 1/2...... Today when i was putting them back on i was checking out the main pulley off the motor, w/e that's called, but when i pushed on it, it was able to spin, but the crank wasnt turning.... This was while the belts were off......

I am at aloss for why they come off because they are brand new, i got them on in febuary..... Could the major temp changes have an effect on them where i live, it was as low as like -35 for quick a few weeks this year where I live, and now i'ts above freezing, so i dunno.....

if your crank pulley spins but the crank doesn't it's probably ready to fall off and that's why your belts keep jumping off. Check your crank pulley bolt for tightness

how would the crank pulley spin but not the crank? isn't there 4 bolts that go through the crank pulley and into the crank..

there should be (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

if they are there and still tight then the rubber damper has completely worn itself to nothing and the belt part is spinning around the main part of the pulley.
