Hey guys, i am in need of some major help...
My battery in my 97 Magna went dead. I had to wait a day or so before i could get a new one, now i have put the new one in things are going wrong.... there are three main problems.
1 - the radio won't turn back on, i have followed the instructions of the manual and input the security code, but it still doesn't turn back on.
2 - the speed alarm will no come back on, i have checked all the fuses and they are all still ok.
and the 3rd problem is definantly the worst... for some strange reason the car keeps stalling.. now i have never had a problem with that before and i have owned the car for 2 years now...
Can someone please help me!!!!

My alternator took a dump last night and I am having a bit of drama sourcing another one. My question is, what other alternator's will fit? Like, a V6 Mitsubishi alternator is the same for every V6 Mitsubishi?

Please help, I need my car going badly

got home from work yesterdy and some bastyard has stolen my sigma ive had it less than 2 weeks and its gone GRRRR

its a 1981 sigma station wagon in crappy white paint
2.6l recently recoed good radiator looks new
its been transplanted in recently by previous owner but they retained the stock 4 speed rather than fit the comomon 2.6l 5 speed
2 hella spotties mounted in the front where the grill should be
quad(2per side) square headlights on the front
still covered in tree sap from when i collected it

rego plates where vic slimlines OFD-163

also it had no battery in it so im guessing its been towed away neighbours didnt see anything even the nosy ones next door that know and see everything

Hello everyone , my name is Bob and i have a prob with my 3ltr v6 Pajero , after the car stopped on me and the checkengine light came on i have replaced the air flow sensor but the light is still on and the code is still the air flow .
had the auto elec bloke looking but couldn't find the intermittent problem with starting , it's driving me mad , it won't stop alltogether so i can have the prob sorted but i can't rely on it to start everytime , disconnected the battery to cancel the code but the light still comes on again after a short distance , when it starts it runs ok accept for the fuel guage that seems to go down pretty fast .
Can anyone give a clue as to what else to try .

Just wondering if anyone uses Windows Automotive in their cars.

I have a 05 Lancer and am looking at putting Pioneer audio system throughout inc. a 7" TFT head unit, possibly the vehicle dynamics processor.

What would be really sweet would be to run Windows Automotive 5.0 on a Small Form Factor PC that would fit in the dash where the storage tray currently is.

The thing is i don't think Win Auto is available in Aus.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,
I own the above mentioned car and am having some issues with it.
After a recent engine change, the first run of her was fine, now she is cutting out when driving (accelerating) she just splutters like shes starving fuel. The fule pump and filter are fine, i also thought it could be a electrical problem like the dizzy/leads/sparkies etc, but she is still doing it.
Any ideas?

Any of you Ozzies into 4WD? I'm comparing notes with the Pajero's on milage, performance and guts. With the fuel prices going beserk I am looking at running it on Ethanol (alcohol + Petrol) but not sure what percent will work OK in a 3.5l GDI motor. Heard you guys might be into it?

I drive a 1998 Silver 4 door Mitsubishi Lancer (SOHC 1.5L) with 72,000kms

I recently had a Gen2 Honda CRX, but sold that and bought the Lancer off my parents cos they bought another new Lancer (now have an 04 and an 05).

Only mods so far is just a pioneer CD player (& 6" 160w speakers)

Gonna get the windows tinted 20% soon, but thats about it.
Not really after doing the car up or anything. Just driving it he he

Hi i am a new member i was wondering if anyone could help me, iv got a problem with my lancer when i exalerate my car makes a voice but after i drive for about 10 - 15 mins it goes a way but only happens when i exalerate why?????
