Has anyone done a direct comparison of the stock seats on the 09 RA to the recaros? I have the stock seats, and they feel a little too squishy to me... i'm tempted to switch them out for some recaros.

Im actually looking to buy an 05 Ralliart 2.4L auto in the next couple weeks and just wanted to ask if there was anything I needed or ask before I went and did this?

the car is gray, stock and has 56k KM on it. The good body has been well maintained as well.

anyone tried it? the gsr wheels are 8.5 inches wide, and the RA are 7 inches wide i believe. Are the tire pressure monitoring sensors in the wheels the same?

i've ran a search on this and just found threads on the differences in the suspension. BUT here's what i wanna know. What kind of struts are you RA guys running? whats a decent strut to go with?

For those of you out there who wanted a much faster 2011 Ralliart, you're wishes are almost going to come true. I'm going to paste the story originally posted by another website below.

This information was given in a statement earlier today by Wayne Killen (Mitsubishi of North America Marketing President)

Update: Mitsubishi has announced official upgrades and pricing for its 2011 Lancer Ralliart turbocharged AWD sedan. The 2011 Lancer Ralliart will come with a 242hp (258 lb-ft of torque) turbocharged four-cylinder - up 5 horsepower from the 2010 version of the same 4B11 engine. The 2011 model will also have an optional 5 speed manual transmission as well as a TC-SST dual-clutch gearbox. Pricing for the manual transmission will start at $25,190, and the dual-clutch version will start at $26,590.

According to Mitsubishi the new 2011 Lancer Ralliart will also be 90 lbs lighter than the outgoing 2010 model. The biggest change from 2010 to 2011 will be better wheels and tires. The new Ralliart will come standard with 18 x 8.5-inch Enkei wheels (same as in the Evo GSR) that will carry 245/40R18 Yokohama ADVAN asymmetrical performance tires, a change from the mild 215mm Yokohama tires of the previous model year.

Mitsubishi says that the new Ralliart will have a .5 second quicker 0-60 time, giving the car a 0-60 in 5.4 seconds (2010 model did a 0-60 in 5.9 seconds). Considering that the $34,990 rally bred Lancer Evolution GSR does a 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, the new Ralliart looks pretty impressive.

I finally took the time to drive it and the car is great.

The turbo spools immediately there is no delay

The suspension is softer then the EVO which is SO MUCH BETTER because it doesn't kick the shit out of you

oh and the SST is amazing. Better then any manual ever. PERIOD. And yes it will NOT shift unless you shift it... and it will bounce of rev limiter.

I just bought a 2006 Ralliart, and the Ralliart decal on the back trunk has been removed by the previous owner! I've searched all over this site, but i cant seem to find any answer! Does anyone know where to find a Ralliart decal?

I just got a used lancer sportback ralliart 2004 and i love it.

I was trying to replace the wipers... no problem with the front... but with the rear wipers, I can't seem to find any replacement in stores... haven't had a wiper like that before. The replacement catalogs say 17" but I think that is for the rear wiper on the sedans. My last option is to only have the blades replaced (i.e. buy wiper blade refills).

Does anybody (especially sportback owners) know where i can find the specs and where i can buy one? Any suggestions/information is highly appreciated.

Ok, you might have seen already but I just wanted to be sure. I got the new down pipe, test pipe and catback installed from CP-E. Sounds and looks fantastic. Check out the pics and vids. Sorry for the crappy quality though, I only had an afternoon to test it out.

Its designed, prototyped and manufactured in house. Designed completely in a CAD environment, bent on CNC benders, fixtured, and currently hand TIG welded ( soon to be done robotic - in house ) and out the door directly from CP-E.

The car is back at CP-E for more fabrication on other parts as well as the final fit and finish on the complete exhaust. Dyno and tuning will follow.

I have a Lancer Cedia Ralliart Wagon, under the hood is a 4G93T with a tiptronic transmission. I was wondering what is the best way to bypass the speed cut off of 180 kmh????? i heard the tiptronic transmission has a seperate brain which prevents the engine from reaching higher speeds. please let me know guys, thanks!!

I'm sure I might have to go to the dealer for most of the shtuff I neeed, however, does anyone know where to find the Ralliart logo'd floor mats for an '06 Ralliart and perhaps a trunk mat? Muh Lancer did not have any of those when I bought it and I want them bc the floor mats look super cool!

I also noticed the other day while trying to find a cd under my seat, that I have an amp under there! I looked at the original paper work on my lancer that I have in the glove box, and my Ralliart came with the Sun and Sound Package. I guess the original owner kept the sub woofer bc it is not in the trunk where it should be!
SO...does anyone know where I might be able to find one of those as well? Thank you!

I have a question. Iam doing regular tune up for my '99 Mitsu Lancer and I would like to know which spark plugs would be the best. the stock plugs are NGK. I would like to know whether it is best to replace with the exact type or to replace with the NGK performance plugs like IridiumIX or Platinim. Also if I go for the pergormance plugs what else do i need to change?

Oh, one more thing, what would my car benefit by using synthetic engine oil? I just know it is more expensive than regular engine oil.

I'm looking to do some small upgrades to my '09 ralliart (which is ficken sweet completely stock), but if anyone knows some decent sites where I will be able to find the best price and product for my car I would greatly appretiate it. I am looking to start off by installing a turbo timer first: from there, well a boost control and b.o.v. would be nice. so if anyone has any suggestions i would really love to g=hear them. I am still new in this forum and i have been reading many of the articles here which are really confusing. first of, id like to determine where my mitsubishi lies.all i know is that its a 1.6l 4g92 engine with the ralliart badge in the trunk. there is no mivec logo anywhere. under the hood is the name mitsubishi 16 valve. Top speed is 240Kph though i heve never driven it beyond 165Kph. it has a body kit but i know its not an evolution. and at the trunk the emblems there are just the mitsu logo, lancer and ralliart badge. no mr, no glx, glxi etc. i dont know whether it is a SOHC or DOHC, id appreciate if someone told me.I got the car from singapore (if that will be of any hellp) i bought it simply because it looks good and its fast.

So please someone tell me how good or bad my mitsu is and how better can it become.

I got new ultra white fog lights! Problem is I couldnt remember the wattage so I got the 100 watt ones, only to find out that the original ones are 55Watts. I fitted the 100Watt ones... they are working fine so far though am not comfortable having them since they might overload or something. the fuse load capacity for the fog lamps is 15A. Is it wise for me to change the fuse load capacity to say 20A?

dude! there are like 4 or 5 threads on air intakes on the FIRST PAGE of the RA forums. at least take the time to check the most recent threads before posting the same damn question as the last dude.

So Im new to this site, and if there are other threads addressing this question please forgive me >.< I bought a 2006 Ralliart (M.T) not to long ago. Recently, I've been looking around alot for aftermarket parts like Intakes and Exhaust sytems but I can't seem to find any that can be used on an 06 application. I know AEM has a few intakes for an 05 Ralliart, can they be used on the 06? Im not sure if its the same setup. Any help / suggestions on this and maybe places on where to look for such parts would be greatly appriciated ^_^ Thanks.

woke up saturday morning to find a HUGE tree branch sitting 3 feet away from the passenger door. no damage though. good thing too cuz my insurance doesn't cover trees falling on cars. that is, unless the tree is a ficus tree . everyone else make it through the storm ok? anyone have any serious damage? i live in houston so i'm lucky to not have damage to the house and/or cars.

What could be wrong with my turn signal lights? they suddenly stopped working while i was driving. The harzards were working then afew hours later when i checked, they too stopped working. what could be the problem? i dont think its the bulbs coz the signal in the dash too dont work.

In the attachment you will see everything you get with this package. Orders will be starting in August and delivery is to be in late November early December. been spendin alot of time at work on standby(doing nothing and getting paid!), sitting in the truck reading old import tuners and flipping thru cycle traders. i've put over $6k in my RA and i'm still slow. even if i got an evo or a 2g gs-t i still wouldn't be as fast as i'd like. so i've decided that after i get some new wheels and get body kit installed....i'm getting a bike. cuz its either $5k on a turbo or $5k on a GSXR1000. i dunno, still debating. anybody have a bike? talk me into it

i'm bout to order some new wheels for my ride but i'm having a hard time deciding what brand to get. i currently have some 17" Tenzos but i wanna go bigger, 18" or possibly 19's if they'll fit. i like the tenzos but i want to get a better brand like some 5-zigens since they're made mostly for our types of cars, and they're lightweight (so i'm told). they gotta be lightweight, gunmetal, black or hyperblack and a 5, 6 or 7 spoke. any opinions? so far these are the ones i'm considering. any suggestions are much appreciated!

I have a 1999 Mitsubishi lancer Ralliart, 1.6, 4g92 engine. The rear wheel bearings are slightly worn out. If there is anyone who knows the part number for the rear wheel bearings please let me know so that i can buy them.

ps it uses drum brakes at the rear and it has ABS.

I want to get a short ram intake but which company is best, i dont think i like RRM's vesions because it still uses the stock hose for most of the way. AEM looked good but i didnt know if it had a place to mount the MAF sensor? HELP PLEASE!

I was getting ready to order my CAI but it says that the filter will now be behind the front bumper. i was wondering if any onehas a CAI and has had a problem with the car floodiing out or stalling due to water, now before you say it i dont want a short ram all they do is suck in hot air, and i know that there are water repelent covers as well

I'm to the point where I've decided to keep the stock exhaust piping, but can't decide on a muffler. Is the best way really to get a hi-flow cat, remove resonator, and go with a magnaflow? I personally don't care much for the magnaflow but was just thinking about getting either an OBX or N1 style muffler. Are those too cheap though? I saw on ebay that I could get an N1 for 35 bucks and an OBX for 60 but I'm not going all out and getting the full stainless setup for magnaflow

yea so i took the day off so i could take care of some stuff. woke up early after a fun nite with my girl and racing a G35. went to court this morning, had my case dismissed. realized since i'm at the courthouse i might as well get my registration sticker which expired 03 of 2007! stopped at somewhere to see about a new job making more than twice as much as i am now and was pretty much hired on the spot (i start monday, so be prepared for some serious money being thrown under the hood). cruised by the old BMX track i used to hit as kid to find out that it had been replaced by some building......this building happens to be a performace shop with a dynojet(see ya payday!) stopped at wal-mart to go to the bank, getting outta my car i hit the lock and closed the door......WITH THE DAMN KEYS INSIDE! pissed off and wondering which is cheaper, that little triangular window in the back or Pop-A-Lock. 30 minutes and 50 bucks later i was back on the road. bummer, oh well shit happens, least i didn't have to use my AK.

I have an automatic 04 lancer ralliart. i was planning on gettin a cold air intake for it but i was talkin to a friend of mine and he said that no cai will fit an auto ralliart because the tranny will melt the filter.....is this true? what do you guys know.

Hey all I own a 05 Ralliart and am thinking of putting a short ram intake. I did a bunch of research on it and some say because the tube is so short and stuff when air is sucked in it creates such a turbulance that it messes with my sensors and stuff. Has anyone had any problems when instaling a short ram on their Ralliart such as needing to replace a sensor, ECU ect....
